As serene as you could hope to find, yet an easy drive from wonderfull beaches.

Porta Velha – our charming village house is located in the quiet village of Barão de São Miguel, only 8 km from the idyllic coastal villages of Salema and Burgau. The proximity to Lagos and the nature reserve of Costa Vicentina right outside the door make it the perfect retreat for nature lovers and explorers. The baroque parish church from the 16th century, the oldest building in the village, gives the village additional historical charm and recalls the rich culture and history of the region.

Our vacation home CASA FEE has a bathroom with shower/toilet, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher available), flat-screen TV with DVD player, double bed (1.60 m) and a single bed (1 m x 2 m) on a small gallery. Another, narrower bed (0.8 m x 2 m) would be available for a child. Our cottage is very quietly located on the sunny edge of the forest outside the village of Pedralva (within walking distance there is a very delicious restaurant, a pizzeria, and a café with evening bar service).

We are located in the middle of the valley of Pedralva, peaceful and quiet, far away from mainstream tourism and yet the famous surfing beaches of Amado and Bordeira are 5 minutes away by car. Surrounded by nature, hammocks in our cork oak forest invite you to relax and our own lake invites you to swim. Two restaurants and a bar are a 5-minute walk away. Nearby small fishing villages such as Carrapateira, Vila do Bispo, Aljezur or Lagos are worth a visit.

When we first visited E23Luz we were blown away by the amazing views overlooking the sea, Rocha Negra (Black Rock), the beach and the Roman Ruins. We loved the place so much that we spent 5 months renovating the property extensively with the goal of making the view the main focus.
