Loft holiday rentals in Barlavento Algarvio

the space is original and cute. if you like to sleep with the window open, but you have a problem in the bedroom. this is on the upper floor and connected to the living space by stairs. if you don't have a vehicle, the path along the highway into the village is a bit arduous and about 800 m long. but otherwise everything was great and we felt very comfortable. We were always immediately helped with all questions.

Very nice place with great central location

It was a new experience, super nice. Somewhat out of the way. You need a car to get there. Interesting, cozy decor. Amenities were as described. There is a great togetherness there. In summer, it is very warm & humid in the cottage, there is no air conditioning. If you want to open the window to let some air in because it gets very stuffy and warm at night, you have to expect mosquitoes and other insects to come in, as there is no fly net or other on the window. You have to like it and be able to handle it. On the whole, a great accommodation furnished with a lot of love. Outside there is a nice relax / cooking area for all residents. Check in is super easy. Parking available.

Ana's suite in Olhão was the perfect place for me to have a home base and explore the Algarve for the week. It was clean, quiet, and a very central location. The bakery around the corner was excellent. It was very comfortable for a solo traveler. I would highly recommend Ana's place. Some of my favourite activities and restaurants were: - walking tour with Ell - kayaking the coastline exploring caves with Felipe from Treasure Tours - hiking the 7 Hanging Valleys trail - cooking class in Lagos with The Kitchen (we made Cataplana) - taking the ferry and exploring the islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol - Quinta de Marim nature trail - Restaurants: Cha Cha Cha and Cestaria. Pizza na Pedro was great too when I needed a break from seafood Wonderful community and warm people. I really enjoyed my experience in Olhão.

Cosy and clean, had everything we needed for 2 nights. Tilo was super friendly and attentive, always helpful.

As a lone female traveller i couldn’t of asked for a better host! Alisa was so welcoming and really made me feel at home, both her and her uncle were very helpful with the local area and advising on where best to go. The area it’s self is also lovely, very safe and homely feel to it, will definitely be returning☺️

James' place was perfect for what we needed, a nice place, close to the airport. The terrace had a wonderful view over Faro and plenty of seats around the pool to enjoy it. James' family were really nice and helpful to us, even when our car broke down on their driveway! Thanks for the stay! Can definitely recommend!

We found the apartment very sweet and appealing. Everything was clean and nothing was missing. 👍🏼 The kitchen was super equipped, the towels smelled great and the cat on the property is another plus :) The only 'negative' thing we noticed was the chairs in front of the house, which were quite uncomfortable and old. However, all apartments had different chairs, so this probably only affected us. Overall, we were super satisfied and would come back :)

This is one of the best Air B&B’s I have ever been to. Such a nice apartment, super clean, the bed was so comfortable, in a nice quiet location and close to bars/shops. When we checked in to the Airbnb, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hosts had left food and drinks for us in the fridge as a welcome gesture. It was a thoughtful touch that we haven’t experienced at any other Airbnb, and it really stood out. When we come back to Faro we will 100% be staying here again. Very good in everything

The apartment is centrally located in Quarteira, just across from the local fruit, vegetable, and fish market, and close to the beach. It has a balcony for relaxing, dining, and enjoying the sea view. Fully equipped kitchen with toaster, coffee maker (kaffetrakter for Norwegians!), and a grill on the balcony. Clean and tidy, with extra blankets, towels, and a washing machine. Some street noise, but manageable (I was there in May). Vanda is a great host — I appreciated the flexible check-in/out for my early and late flights. Quarteira is a laid-back town, ideal for quiet holidays. Great, safe beach for swimming. There's also a public pool and gym (bring your passport to register). From Faro Airport, take bus 16 to Faro station, then bus 9 to Quarteira. Or try bus 55, which goes directly to Quarteira a few times a day.

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was pristine, modern and ideally located to the town centre, yet still remarkably quiet. The host was excellent and responsive. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at this accommodation. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great, and the hosts were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to others!

We spent a week with our family with our 2 children aged 5 and 7 in Joâo's home, very clean with everything available . Very well received with small surprises, there was absolutely nothing missing in the apartment. A big thank you to Joâo , we'll be happy to come back.

Very nice accommodation easy to access and very cute! The only small downside is that kitchen utensils were missing and we wish we had everything salt, pepper, oil etc., because for short stays it avoids buying everything. But otherwise everything was perfect!

What a delight, Sylvia & her Husband have created the most charming Algarvian Boutique Guesthouse that you will simply never want to leave. The Penthouse is large, super clean with all the modern features you could ask for include WIFI that actually works well. Don't just take my word for it, come here and indulge yourself in this wonderfully pretty Oasis of calm. The breakfasts are wonderful and the Honesty Bar tells you the kind of guests that come here. 10/10 Sylvia. Thank you so much for being such a star host. x
