Thanks Fi for a fabulous stay! Your place had something special for everyone and was truly a well equipped ‘home away from home’. Our only regret is that we didn’t book longer! Hopefully we are lucky enough to return again one day for longer 😊 Thanks also for being an amazing host and for promptly answering all the questions I had too. You were such a pleasure to deal with. Unpretentious older house about a 5 min drive into Cowes. Private access to beach. Wallabies and birds came up to the back fence for a feed. Possums ate our Easter eggs in the backyard on Easter Sunday morning egg hunt! We loved Richard’s house. It has a great vibe and plenty of space for three kids, five adults and our dog. Kids loved the table tennis. It was good to be away from the crowds in the Main Street. Beautiful walks along the beach which was so accessible. Richard and crew were great to communicate with.

I loved Merelle’s stunning light filled and perfectly decorated mid century beach house and wish I could have stayed forever! It had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay from the well equipped and stocked kitchen to the comfortable chairs in the sitting room around the fireplace , canoes /kayaks and beach chairs , washing machine/dryer and old hills hoist and outdoor setting as well as a functional yard for our dog. She has incredible style from the beautiful linen to the retro furnishings and is very eco friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with, responsive and friendly and very generous with early check in and late check out without even having to ask. And the area has so much to offer / so much to see and do on the Peninsula all within a half hour drive. I will be back for sure! Thank you Merelle 😁

We had the best stay at Steve’s place! We had three families and it was perfect. A huge living entertaining space downstairs and another large space upstairs. Big bedrooms, split con systems upstairs and downstairs in the living rooms and space heaters in the main bedroom and both queen rooms upstairs. About a ten minute walk from Coles/the top of the main strip and 8 minute walk from Mon Dieu (great brunch/coffee), location was also really handy. Lots of amenities (table tennis, kids toys, swings outside) and Netflix on the telly. Steve was super responsive and we will definitely be back!

Great place with a view of the Bass Coast to the south with sunset, and to the north with sunrise from the master bedroom. Within walking distance of the Kilcunda Trestle Bridge for photographers. Convenient base for exploring the Bass Coast from Phillip Island to Inverloch and beyond. Vicky provides helpful descriptions of the local restaurants and grocery stores in the area making it super easy to get set up. I will be back as I could only stay a few days and still have lot's of exploring to do.

We had a lovely stay over the long weekend at Sharon’s place. Set in a quiet cul de sac within a direct 5 minutes walk to the beach, this place is ideal for couples looking for a getaway. The unit is beautifully appointed with great facilities and plenty of room. A straightforward 20 mins walk into the town with plenty of options to grab a coffee. Highly recommended.

Hi Deb! Today we left your wonderful house unfortunately after 6 weeks. We had a phantastic time and didn’t want to leave… We got in contact with so many nice people in Surf Church and Baptist Church. The Catholic School was also wonderful for our son. We loved Surfing at Smiths Beach, hiking at Pyramid Rocks, swimming at the Beach at your House with the black swans, Jogging at Silverleaves and writing a Book on the terrace of your House with the Most wonderful panoramic view ever!!! How can I now live without it?

We had a wonderful weekend away - such a beautiful spot with lovely views out to the water but still able to be cosy by the fireplace! The house was very clean, and had everything we could have possibly needed! Look forward to staying again in the future :)

We have stayed at Jodie's place 2 or 3 times now, my kids love it, we walk to the beach in the morning and if hot enough, pool for rest of the day. It has everything that suits us as a family including the oval and skate park across the road.

The accommodation was a perfect size. Main bedroom is great, large with its own bathroom and enclosed outside area. Shared bedrooms maybe a bit small but they're just for sleeping anyway. Plenty of living space, an extra area for kids. Lots of toys and games and a billiard table. The swim spa wasn't heating for us but Chris the host did warn us due to unforeseen circumstances and offered a refund if we wished to cancel. Very close to a beautiful enclosed beach, not very busy and good for swimming. Far enough away from 5he bustle of Cowes centre but close enough to walk or drive in for supplies. Chris was very prompt in replying. Overall, a very good experience and I recommend this accommodation for groups or families. Thank you Chris for offering your place.

The place was very comfortable and extremely handy being close to everything. Sally was very obliging to all our requests. We would fully recommend this place to anyone who is considering staying there!

This was my second time of booking Elle & Andrew’s house, the first time was with my family , and this time was with a small group of girlfriends. The house was perfect for both occasions. The house was spotlessly clean , spacious & the pool & spa were again a highlight. Everything was there we could possibly need , so we could relax & enjoy the weekend. Elle & Andrew were sensational hosts, very responsive & nothing was too much trouble . All my friends thought the house was simply amazing & can’t wait to go back . Thanks for having us .

Greg’s place was as described, clean neat, well renovated and cosy. Beds were comfy 5 minute walk if that to the General store for coffee, and everything else we needed was a 7 minute drive including a great pub. Plenty of other places to see we’re with in 35 minute drive. There was also everything we needed for breakfast and a better than hotel minibar.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The place was beautiful, spotless, and well maintained. It was in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the main town. Communication was excellent, with prompt responses to our questions. A definite 10/10

What a lovely spot. Calm and quiet with amazing ocean views. Lots of good cafes and restaurants at your doorstep.

Nice and cosy little cottage. Love the simple and clean interior and quiet surroundings. Location is super accessible to the penguin parade. Recommend to those who love quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Diane’s lovely old cottage by the sea was the perfect destination to escape to for a few days R & R. Easy check in with an offer of an earlier time and some yummy pantry and fridge treats….all much appreciated. Ideal location within a short stroll of the front beach, cafes & shops. Quiet street, very comfy bed, super efficient heating system in each room, great shower, Netflix and if wanted….amazing catering for kids with a tonne of games, books, DVD’s and toys for little ones! Thank you for providing a perfect few days to breathe in the salt air, enjoy long beach walks and to snuggle into your cozy home each evening Diane….I didn’t want to leave!

This was hands down the *best Airbnb* we’ve ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The property is **beautifully maintained** and **fully equipped** with everything we could possibly need – the kitchen had all the essentials (and more!), the living spaces were cozy, and the bedrooms were incredibly comfortable. Our kids absolutely *loved it here* – they haven’t stopped talking about the stay since we left! The space was so family-friendly, safe, and had plenty of room for them to play. It’s rare to find a place that keeps both adults and children this happy. The host was wonderful – responsive, thoughtful, and made us feel truly welcomed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a **perfect home away from home**, especially with kids, look no further. We’ll definitely be returning! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

This place was amazing! Very easy to find, very quiet. Perfect for if you want to spend your time relaxing. Perfect location, only a short 6 minute drive into town or right outside is a bus stop if you wanted to get public transport into town, really can’t get much better than that. This place was so worth the money, it’s much bigger than what appears in the photos and has everything you could possibly need. Definitely will stay here again.

Our family loved staying at the Barefoot Beach House - the house contained everything that needed for a family stay (the caravan cubby was a huge hit with the kids) and there was plenty of space to spread, but still be connected. Location so close to the beach was amazing. Definitely a place to return to!

Lynette’s place is wonderful. So many unique touches. Walking distance to the shops, restaurants and beach! She had everything we could have needed and more. Kids books, toys, cot, bikes and heaps of outdoor games for them. It was such a special place and one we hope to return to someday.
