Lovely house in a well located area for what we needed. Close to our son in Balham, close enough to walk along the river to Battersea and only a short uber into theatre land. Peaceful private courtyard garden with lovely plants. Well stocked cupboards- a real home from home.

Great location close to Clapham Common. We did not use the wet room, but the bath was fine. The stairs to the top room are very narrow. Paul warned us about construction and left us a bottle of wine, which was nice. We were not too bothered by it. We contacted Paul about the microwave, which wasn't working, and he replaced it within 24 hours. Generally a good experience.

Josephine and her son were really welcoming. She shared a lot of useful information for my travels and looked after me during my stay. She also gave me some enough privacy. I'm really enjoying my time here.

We had a fantastic stay at Harriet place. The house is lovely, situated in a great location, and the kids absolutely loved the toys provided. It was a perfect getaway for the whole family, and we will definitely return!

We loved our stay with Annie, Andrew and Stanley and would love to come back. The house has been lovingly restored and is beautifully decorated and furnished. We so enjoyed the delicious made to order breakfasts every morning that kept us going until dinner time. Stanley greeted us whenever we came and went and was a welcome surrogate for our own pup at home. The location is perfect - a short walk from the tube station and immediately across the street from beautiful Bishop’s Park. We truly can’t say enough about the Egmont Lodge and the warm welcome we received. Thank you so much Annie and Andrew.

The host is basically there and can help you.He was very kind and trustworthy.Also, the residential area was a quiet residential area and was "quiet".I thought it was only natural for people in the UK, especially young women, to choose this as their accommodation.Basically, the owner takes care of everything and protects your privacy.I would like to recommend this London accommodation, where you can get to Heathrow Airport with one subway transfer on your way back.I think it was a good relationship because he was frank with me about various consultations.

We have an excellent memory of our stay with Vilma and her husband who are welcoming, dedicated and give good advice. We enjoyed being able to chat in French with Vilma. Breakfast is generous. Their house in a quiet neighborhood is nice. It is close to a park and the promenade on the banks of the Thames. The bedroom attached to a bathroom is bright and comfortable. My stay at Shanita's private apartment was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I was so impressed by how incredibly neat and clean the entire place was – truly spotless! It made for such a comfortable and welcoming arrival. The location is also a huge plus. I found it incredibly accessible to the city center, with both bus and train options just a short walk away, making it super convenient to explore. A special shout-out and massive thank you to Shanita for stocking up the kitchen with essentials, snacks, and drinking water. I arrived really late in the evening, and seeing those thoughtful provisions was such a relief and made a huge difference after a long journey. It's these small but significant details that truly elevate a stay. I highly recommend Shanita's apartment to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and wonderfully hospitable place to stay. I'd definitely book again!

Centrally located in Old Town Clapham a cosy one bedroom apartment handy to transport, shops & restaurants. Diana a very generous host and most responsive. An exciting part of town that is part of the best Clapham has to offer. Would recommend.

Lovely apartment in a beautiful location. Everything you need in the apartment with thoughtful touches to make life a little easier! A great little balcony with big bifold doors which was heavenly in the hot weather.

We had a very comfortable stay at Livia's apartment, and we felt at home straight away. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. It was very easy to find and the location was great for being close to Chelsea, just over the bridge and a lovely walk through Battersea Park to Battersea Power Station. The property was very clean and warm, and it felt very homely. The pub is right next door, so you will find people very loud in the evenings outside the apartment, and with the bedroom at the front of the property, it was difficult to sleep. But no doubt this is expected on a bank holiday weekend. All in all, we had a very nice stay and would recommend it to couples.

Staying at Richard’s home was a delight! The neighborhood was quiet and cute with a Sainbury’s Local just a 3 minute walk away. It was easy to catch the bus (2 minutes away) and a 20 minute walk to the tube. Richard was specific in his directions for getting in and out of the flat and his home is so beautiful and clean. I felt right at home. This is the perfect place for anyone who is comfortable riding public transit or has a car. Richard could not have been more accommodating or kind. I would definitely stay there again!

We couldn't have found a better place to stay! Bukurosh's apartament was amazing, better than we anticipated. The location is perfect, a calm area with lots of transportation options to the city center. It's a very comforting place to stay after a day in busy London. Bukurosh was always very helpful and fast to reply. This is definitely where I'll want to stay if I'm ever back in London. Thanks again, Bukurosh!

As a solo female traveler this was a great place! Cleanliness: very well kept and tidy/comfortable Location: in a more residential area but easy access to metros and bus stations (roughly 45 mins to get to most main attractions) Safety: the apt itself felt very safe

First of all, Billie and Max are excellent hosts who communicate very well, respond quickly to questions, and are extremely helpful. Thank you for all the support you provided throughout the entire process. The apartment’s location is fantastic—very close to two different tube stations. What I loved most was its proximity to Hyde Park. If you enjoy walking, you can easily add a short stroll through the park to your daily routine :) It’s situated in a very peaceful and quiet area, yet still close to lovely cafés and restaurants. In this neighborhood, you don’t feel like a tourist but more like a local, truly immersing yourself in the spirit of the city. I’m already looking forward to staying in this apartment again. Thank you for everything✌🏻

Sharon’s place is adorable - a lovely English flat, outside of the hustle and bustle of London, in a residential neighborhood. My favorite part of her place is her back yard - it’s like a slice of garden heaven in the middle of town. A pond, beautiful flowers; it was lovely just sitting out in her yard taking in the sun (when it wasn’t raining ;)). Entertained daily by magpies and foxes. This flat is just for one person as there is only a twin bed, but her flat is roomy and the kitchen can’t be beat! Sharon was a great communicator and checked in to make sure I was doing okay and was always responsive if I needed anything. Great place to unwind after being on the road. Thank you, Sharon!

Great apartment. It was clean and comfortable. Jason was a great host. He answered all of our questions and was available and fast to communicate. The apartment was very clean, no dust, no stains, no grime. You have to take your shoes off in the apartment which is something I really appreciated. The location is close to a train station and there is a bus stop right in front. It’s minutes away from a gorgeous park. I wholeheartedly recommend the apartment and Jason as a host.

I really enjoyed my stay here—it’s a great option if you’re traveling solo and want to be in a safe, central part of London. The neighborhood felt very secure and had everything I needed within a short walking distance: shops, cafes, restaurants, and public transport. The flat was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It made a perfect home base for exploring the city. I’d definitely recommend it to other solo travelers!
