The apartment was clean,the host was helpful and kind, and the location is wonderful for your trip to Balat! The apartment had what we needed such as hair dryer, washing machine, refrigerator , AC wall units, tea pot, coffee pot for brewing a delicious cup of Turkish coffee which we had the pleasure of enjoying with the host who was a lovely ambassador for the people of Türkiye. There are lovely tea/pastry shops around, fresh juice, small convenience stores as well as some restaurants in the area. Do yourself a favor and ask the host for a little tour of the area. She’ll take you to the best tea shop with the best pastries. I definitely would come back and stay here.

We had a great stay! The location in Balat is very nice — full of charm and character. All major sightseeing spots in Istanbul are easily reachable within about 20 minutes by tram. The apartment is beautifully renovated and feels very safe, especially with a police station nearby. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and taking in the lovely Istanbul weather. Highly recommend!

The place exactly matched the description in the beautiful neighborhood of Balat. Walkable distance to restaurants and cafes. Lots of colorful houses and shopping stores. Wir waren 3 Paare und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist in Fathi zentral gelegen und fussläufig sind viele schöne und authentische Restaurants zu erreichen. Auch zur Strassenbahn ist es nicht weit und von dort kann man mit ÖV alle Umgebungen erkunden.

An apartment with a great, uninterrupted view of the sea! The listing is just as shown in the photos, clean and well-equipped. You can also enjoy luxuries of the hotel with buffet breakfast, pool access (at an additional cost). The hosts were always responsive and answered all our questions with patience. Would definitely recommend for a short or long-term stay!

FANTASTIC APARTMENT WITH HIGH CEILING AMAZING HOST !!! House owner BURAK is the most interesting person I ever met . He never sleeps, all the time avaliable to help you. He has a market in the building you can find everything. Also he has MANY apartments in the same building . All of them are well furnished and amazing . Smells good . I love the bed so much it’s very comfy. Burak’s apartments are really very well designed he is taking very well care of the apartment and with us 🙏thank you burak , thank you man . More than apartments Burak make the holiday much better for us . I feel I know him for 20 years but actually just met him a few days ago 😅 he gives very good energy and when we chat with him we had too much fun . He is super funny . When you see him somewhere in the building you feel you’re safe , you feel somebody is boss here and he makes the people feel that control is in hands . Well thank you and I’ll exactly come back again . 5 stars for apartment, 10 stars for Bur

We stayed for 3 nights at this place, but I wish it had been longer. I can truly say it was one of the best accommodations we’ve ever experienced. Istanbul is a vibrant city full of hustle and bustle, but the apartment was in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to facilities and amenities. Fatih is the best host ever—he was available instantly and always responded to our questions right away. The apartment was clean, secure, and had a beautiful view of the city. It also offered spacious parking. It’s definitely worth the price you pay. Don’t hesitate to book this place! ☺️

I had a great stay at Çiğdem’s place! The location is perfect—just steps from the tramway and close to many major attractions, restaurants, and shops. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Çiğdem was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Istanbul!

yusuf est très sympa et réactif. l'appartement est fonctionnel, la literie est confortable , il y a tout ce qu'il faut sur place ( machine à laver , vaisselles , ustensiles et accessoires de cuisine, linge de lit , serviettes ...). gros + pour les piscines intérieures et extérieures c'était vraiment chouette, sans parler des aires de jeux pour les enfants, salle de sport, terrain de foot et basket, ça c'est génial quand on est en famille. le métro est à 5min à pieds mais un peu long pour rejoindre le centre historique d'Istanbul ( 30/40min) il nous a fallu 24h pour bien comprendre le mode de fonctionnement de l'appartement et de la résidence mais une fois que c'était bon tout était parfait. résidence sécurisée. on a passé un très bon. séjour. le petit point négatif c'est le ménage... vous pouvez largement vous améliorez la dessus mais je suis exigeante là dessus donc globalement je dirais que c'était très bien.

One of the best parts was how incredibly close it was to public transportation, which made getting around Istanbul so easy. The neighborhood felt safe, even at night, and was full of life with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. Ali was an exceptional host, kind, attentive, and always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. When we met him in person as we were leaving, he even helped us with our luggage, which we really appreciated. I’m so grateful for this wonderful stay, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again when I return to Istanbul!

Our recent stay at this Airbnb in Turkey was truly amazing! The location was super convenient—everywhere we wanted to go was just a short taxi ride away. Plus, taxis had no trouble finding the place, which made getting around a breeze. The house itself was spotless! You could tell the host took our request for cleanliness seriously. The place smelled fresh and looked immaculate. The host even provided extra towels, tissues, and bed sheets without any hesitation. The layout of the Airbnb was fantastic: three floors, each with its own bed and bathroom. This setup was perfect for our family, and it would be ideal for multiple families traveling together. The privacy and convenience were top-notch. The ground floor had a billiard table, which was a huge hit with the kids (and the adults!). We are satisfied with our stay! Seval sent us all the instructions how to get to the apartment and about our stay. The apartment was clean, prepared with all necessary things to make us feel like at home. The apartment is located in quiet neighbourhood and there's a public transport 5 minutes walking from the place. It takes around 10-15 minutes to get to the city center by bus or tram. Also, you can find many shops, grocery stores and cafes around.
