Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bedfordview

Our reservation for the size of our group stay was super! The rooms were huge, private and super neat and clean. The ample bathrooms in the house eases the load and no waiting for others to finish. The entertainment and dining areas were so well planned which makes this house an ideal place for a huge family reunion, group or corporate outing or even a workshop for a small executive group. The kitchen is huge and had lovely amenities. Even the cottage was clean and neat, as our big group of 15 utilized all the facilities. We had a power failure in the house but was quickly attended to and there were daylight alternatives. Housekeeping is right up there.

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

We spent several weeks at Lisa’s place and loved every moment. Lisa was super communicative and always on hand if we had a question. We liked being situated in Melville which is easily walkable and has lots of unique places to visit, especially the cafes on 7th street, 27 Boxes and morning walks up on the Koppies which are a must if staying in the area. Thanks again Lisa for being a great host, we hope to stay again!

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything so seamless from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely experience - we’d definitely love to return!

It was a pleasure staying at Charmaine’s. The house is spacious, very well equipped and comfortable - a real home away from home. The garden was also a welcome distraction for the kids. A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

Jeremy and Janet were absolutely wonderful hosts who welcomed both me and my pup with open arms. They're genuinely lovely people - the kind you could chat with for hours about anything and everything. Their helper Kingsley was fantastic too, always making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is stunning - gorgeous architecture with beautiful paintings throughout that honestly made me feel like I was staying in some charming European home. The neighborhood felt really safe as well. I parked on the street every day without any worries and enjoyed walking around the area regularly. Overall, this was such a great experience with truly exceptional hosts. I'd recommend Jeremy and Janet to anyone looking for a special place to stay - you won't be disappointed!

Nkulie and her co-host, are great. They have exceptional communication skills and are kind, helpful and thoughtful. I would advise the next person to have a great stay with you other half for a serene stay.

Alex was a very friendly, helpful host! The cottage is in a beautiful space and very secluded, set apart from the rest of the property. We enjoyed our stay and have already made plans to return!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit had everything and more than what was needed and everything was super clean in the unit and the bed very comfortable. The unit is very close to St Mary's Waverley and made it easy for us to walk down to the school to enjoy the hockey festival everyday. Unit is in a safe and clean neighbourhood with alot of malls around. We can only highly recommend Nicolette's place and hope to visit again.

Tsele makes everything easy from check in to check out. Very professional. Across the street from the Mall of Africa so anything you need is right there. I will definitely be back!

This cottage is an absolutely lovely place to stay. Cosy, well furnished, with a private garden to sit and enjoy some quiet time among the beautiful tree ferns. We only stayed a night on our way transiting through Joburg but found the commute of abt 30 mins to OR Tambo perfectly manageable. very safe within a boom gated community and close to the shops at Four Ways amd Design Quarter. Quality bed linen, a jacuzzi style bath, and lovely welcoming selection of complimentary snacks were much appreciated. Deirdre and her husband welcomed us and made us and showed us around, making us feel instantly at home. we'll definitely be back! Thank you

Kim is a lovely and amazing host and the space is great. It gets a little cold in the winter, but between the sunshine on the patio and the space heater it’s manageable. This place is especially great for people with pets and longterm stays. Kim is an animal lover and is more than happy to make a new furry friend. If you don’t like animals than maybe consider staying somewhere else, but otherwise you can’t find a nicer and more welcoming host.

Exactly as pictured and more!! What a treat, tucked away and surrounded by beautiful greenery all around the property. It is decorated with stunning pieces but still feels like home away from home. My visit was short but I will be back. Tash and the housekeeper Shayla were so sweet and helpful through the entirely of our stay.
