Cabin holiday rentals in Beechworth

The snowgum chalet was absolute serenity. A very peaceful and romantic get away for me and my partner. The only noise was from the ducks and birds which we loved. Very private and secluded. Pool was cold but the hot spa made up for it. Wendy was very accomodating and efficient in her responses. Thankyou for having us - beautiful weekend :)

Loved our stay. Everything matched the description. Beautifully styled and felt right at home. The river at the bottom of the property is spectacular and really adds to the overall charm. Saw local Kangaroos and Deer down by the river. Bed was comfy, heating with the electric heater was ample and plenty of firewood on hand for the Coonarra fire. An easy 20min drive into town. Felixa was really responsive to any questions and helpful. There’s no TV but that’s mentioned in the description. There’s plenty of games etc to keep you occupied. Wi-Fi worked fine.

Wendy's place was amazing and Wendy was very contactable. We had a few questions prior to our arrival and Wendy was able to promptly reply to our messages. Check-in details were also provided very clearly and was very easy!

Cozy log cabin for a rainy winter weekend. We basically stayed inside and made it our home base for 3 days and it was perfectly equipped. It was hard to appreciate the setting with the weather, but the river is not visible from the property which we didn't realise. Claudia was very responsive and was able to arrange extra firewood for payment for us. The house was very comfortable and warm with the fire. We appreciated the complimentary wine and large TV for watching footy. Thanks!

We had a fantastic stay, easy to find, private cabins and so close to so many attractions. Anne and Maurie are great, friendly and helpful hosts. We all loved the farm tour and there is so much to do on the farm and close by. We will definitely be back, already planning our next stay.

Wonderful spot. Sauna, spa, ice baths all a bonus. Bright is a magical alpine town.

Was a beautiful stay! Such a lovely view, nice stroll on the property to look at highland cows and horses. Dogs were very friendly! Outdoor spa and fire pit were amazing additions to the AirBNB. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

This is a bit of a hidden gem. Perfectly - and I do mean perfectly - clean, oozing charm, beautiful views and every amenity we could have asked for. Lovely hosts, and really nice little touches like the welcoming wine and muffins. Quiet, cosy and relaxing. We've stayed at other Airbnbs in the area, but this has been the best yet!

This house is absolutely amazing! Extremely spacious both indoors and outdoors. Fantastic location very easy to get around. A thoughtful gift was left upon our arrival making this stay a step above the rest, I would highly recommend especially for larger groups. Thanks Leigh and the team

Beautiful, super clean and spacious shack in a peaceful and private location. Beds were sooo comfy, well equipped kitchen and the fireplace was cosy. We enjoyed the walking tracks down to the river with the dogs and sitting on the deck with a wine in the evenings looking over the river.

spectacular setting! private, peaceful, calm, and relaxing. my son and I hiked Mt Feathertop, and this was a perfect home base. great communication from host, very friendly and quick response to questions.

A fantastic stay at Kelly’s beautiful log cabin. Beautifully appointed with everything you need for a cosy weekend away. Super comfy beds with lovely linen, spotless bathroom with a European laundry with washer and dryer plus drying cupboard for wet gear. A short walk to a picnic ground with river access, plus walking trails to a local waterfall (all dog friendly). Stacks of local information available in the cabin which was super useful. Kelly was friendly and responsive and provided lots of recommendations for the area. We will come back and stay again.

Great place. Interior very clean, spacious bedrooms with tv. Even though the description says no essentials the place had everything you need. Location is good, about 10-15 min drive to Yarrawonga. We really enjoyed the stay, can’t fault the accommodation it was perfect. There is also tavern 2min walk, great atmosphere, life music but once you are back in your cabin you can’t even hear it so no issues with noise. I would note recommend ordering food, we waited 1hr for a pizza and it wasn’t even good.

Without question, our favourite place we've been in Australia. Absolutely stunning views, a beautiful atmosphere, romantic, quiet, private, comfy and classy accommodation - and moments from amazing winery's and food. The cute goats and other animals are adorable and abundant. Whether you want to gaze at the plentiful stars on a clear ngiht, cosy by the log fires or walk up the hill for some spectacular views - its all there. As for Marty, the host - he's the cherry on top. Friendly, kind and an incredible person. Genuinely, you can't find anything better than this. I had booked this a birthday present for my wife. The photos looked very impressive. My only slight reservation was there was a spilt system for heating and we were arriving in early winter. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised to find that the owners have just installed a beautiful wood burning stove which was roaring away when we arrived. It completed the very cosy ambience. This is a very well crafted home. A tin outbuilding that has been beautifully decked out in an eclectic bohemian style with some imaginative design elements, including using the old copper wood fired laundry tub as a bathroom sink. Bright is a few minutes away and a beautiful place to visit. We walked to the top of the Apex Lookout and then lunch at Clean Bowled. Back to the house for an outdoor bath and then dinner at Chop Chop and an arthouse movie in the beautiful cinema. A perfect weekend! This is a rural property so there are some local cockerels who start early but we were able to get back to sleep.

Brilliant stay at Sambar Hills. Sally was great and we hit up the Chrismont Winery which was the best winery we’ve been to. Highly recommend, will be coming back.

This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed, the accommodation was perfect (looks even better in person)! It was a great way to spend Christmas as a couple, the plunge pool keeps you nice and cool in Summer and I’ve already recommended to friends. You can tell it’s a family run location, everyone we spoke to was lovely. We’ll hopefully be returning to experience a Winter break soon 🙂

Cabaña Gris is a fabulous little place in the beautiful Dinner Plain village, with everything we needed and more—a well-equipped kitchen that was spotlessly clean. The main living area has a lovely fireplace and we enjoyed our first cosy fire for the season. As the cabin is beautifully built, with great insulation, we were kept toasty and warm all night long. Our hosts were excellent to deal with, communication was outstanding, and their response time was super quick. Nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to returning to Cabaña Gris in the near future.

Wendy is a wonderful host and her cottage is absolutely gorgeous- welcoming warm and serene. We visited from Tasmania and will definitely be back again! Thanks Wendy for making our trip so memorable
