Floor is paved with handmade clay blocks. The large buttresses, the wide chimneys, and the shales stones anchor the house to the ground and tradition. Spaces are generous in dimension, light and ambience. The two hectares’ land offers sunny spaces shadowed by cork trees, views of the country and the ocean, and a tank of water.

It is 20min drive to the beaches of Vila nova de Milfontes

Our home is an agricultural house renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.
