Family-friendly holiday rentals in Belle Mare

a superb holiday in a faithful and comfortable rental. adapted and dunctional pool. Good hygiene and a verandah with ocean views. the furniture is in the theme of the island and gives a lot of charm to the stay. the only downside is the weak wifi in some rooms of the house, otherwise there is nothing to say. very good stay and the pool was a plus for all the family. The concierge is really great and responsive.

An ideal place to explore Mauritius, its beaches and inland and find calm, comfort and idleness in the late afternoon! Super equipped accommodation where you can feel at home right away. Ambroise and Ganesh's hospitality is remarkable. Attentive, available and concerned with our installation. I can only confirm the many testimonials in this sense that we had read before coming: everything is true! and perfect:-)

We spent three very pleasant nights at Hans' house. The accommodation is spacious, with four large bedrooms, a superb swimming pool and a great location in Grand Baie. The instructions were clear and the welcome was warm. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Perfect location, beautiful apartment with everything you need inside: a small balcony to enjoy the sun in the morning during breakfast, a seating area with two swings to relax when returning from visits, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Not to mention the outside with its large swimming pool, its well-stocked weight room, the relaxation area, the barbecue area... everything is beautiful. Great hosts who best advise you on things to visit, very kind, respectful, attentive and attentive. I was able to share a grill and rum party with them and it was perfect. I recommend 1000% and will be back for sure! See you soon.

The location in the middle of the national park is fantastic. Quiet and safe without a rental car, however, you can't get very far here. The house was much nicer than you could guess before and the perfectly furnished kitchen surprised us very much. We have never had such good amenities in an Airbnb Everything was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the time. The pool was pleasant and the air conditioners in the rooms worked very well. Only in the living area it was very warm, unfortunately you could not spend a longer time. Mosquito spray is highly recommended, but that applies to the whole island. Thank you for the great time.

Florian's house perfect to me and my friend! We had a absolutely pleasant 2 weeks here. The house is in a quiet street, like a villa place, pure living area. Means not many restaurants nearby, but there is a perfect kitchen with all necessary equipments, we can cook whatever we want. The house not far from the center of Port Louis as well as big malls. It’s convenient for stay. I highly recommend this place and definitely will book again if I come to Mauritius in the future.

Sheila was an exceptional host, friendly, always responsive to calls/texts and even went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (especially with her family for airport runs and car rental!!) Our lengthy stay was a home from home! We couldn’t thank her enough 🙏🏽 The place is a nice, big spacious apartment in the heart of rural Mauritius, small local shops close by - be prepared for some bugs in the evening, but friendly (and shy!) geckos, who actually help eat the bugs! Belle Mare beach (one of the best on the island) only 10 minutes away by car. La Riviere restaurant was also recommended by Shelia and is must to eat at, no need to make a reservation, you can just turn up! On our last day we also visited an island called Ile Aux Cerf which was a short drive and then boat ride away! Shelia also provided us with basic essentials: water, juice, sugar, cutlery, cleaning products and household basics. On top of all that she also provided a very useful welcome guide. Overall 10/

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

We were allowed to spend 10 nights at Amelie's place. She's a great hostess with lots of tips and nice conversations. The property is centrally located in Tamarin, shopping nearby and less than 1km to Tamarin Public Beach. Through the hostess's garden you can reach the beach for magnificent sunsets and in the morning you can discover dolphins. The place is nice and big and has a great outdoor kitchen with living area right by the pool. If you have a light sleep, you may be woken up by car traffic in the morning. The southwest of Mauritius is perfect for hiking in the national park and many other activities. We would stay with Amelie again the next time we visit Mauritius.

Very good stay, the apartment was well located in relation to the beach of Le Morne (10 min by car) and the neighborhood was very quiet. Our children enjoyed the pool. Arwin was very responsive and accommodating, especially for the rental vehicle that we rented from him and that we were able to pick up and return to the airport.

Neat and clean. warm welcome by the host and instructions were clear. we had some grocery free of charge too, much appreciated from all the people who stay there. Would recommend surely.

We had a wonderful week in Tatiana's beautiful apartment. The view of the Indian ocean was spectacular. We practically had the pool and beach to ourselves when we were there as very few others around. Tatiana was very responsive, particularly when we had an issue with the hot water on day one. It was all fixed very quickly. I hope one day we can return as it was the perfect base for us to explore the area. Thank you!

We had a great time staying at Villa Pampas 2. The house was superb, clean, very well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The garden and pool allow you to fully enjoy the stay as well. A big thank you for the welcome of Soumila and her small dishes which are a treat. Great contact with landlords. We recommend ++

Before arrival Archad was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we were met and shown around the house and shown how everything worked etc. The house was very clean with large rooms. The location is good - easy to get to Port Louis outside of rush hour and the motorways around the rest of the island. The (basically) private beach added a touch of luxury. House manager Natasha is very responsive and always on hand. We had an issue (nothing to do with the house) and Natacha was over later the same day and all sorted on a Sunday. Would recommend highly.

We were blown away by the beauty of the villa when we arrived. It is the perfect balance of luxury & home, without feeling like you have invaded someone else's space. The staff were great at keeping the place tip top, and we enjoyed some gorgeous mauritian cuisine prepared. The garden and pool are a stunning place to enjoy the Mauritian sunshine. Whole heartedly recommended!

Everything worked out just fine. Air France screwed up our arrival by choosing a ridiculously tight connecting flight. They missed it and put us in a hotel that was more of a dive. As a result, we arrived in Mauritius a day later. I was able to communicate with Olivier without any problems and he immediately pointed out to me that I could cancel the day on Airbnb. I did it, money back - perfect. Our departure was late and it was no problem for Olivier that we showered in the house again because we used the day to bathe and check out later. All in all: Mauritius is worth a trip, especially if you want to kite, hike and snorkel like we do. And Olivier is a great place for it.

Maxime’s communication was great, he helped us with an airport transfer and provided 2 cots and high chairs which was really helpful. The living area is really spacious and there is plenty of utensils etc in the kitchen. The beach is around a 15 minute walk and there are a couple of little shops at the end of the street

A fantastic place for a great holiday. Immaculate, extremely well equipped, stunning decoration, extremely tasteful furniture & fittings, everything you need and more. I can personally recommend Romain’s place to anyone. This was our fourth visit to Mauritius , and was the best ever. We will definitely be back in the future. Romain went out of his way to arrange my wife’s 60th birthday celebrations. On our arrival we were surprised with Champagne , and he even arranged a birthday cake the night of the celebration. I had an incredible 4-day stay here. The location is amazing, just a very short walk to the gorgeous beaches of Trou aux Biches. The room was not only well-appointed and clean, but also peaceful and comfortable, making it a tranquil and ideal retreat. The host was attentive and responsive. For example, when I had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi, he showed up right away and helped set it up on my computer. He was also knowledgeable and helpful about what to do locally, offering great tips on places to eat and visit. I felt completely supported during my stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-connected home base in Mauritius.
