Peace promised with 50 meters between cottages. Our cottages are self contained with wood fired hot tubs for the cold days, or use without a fire in summer to cool off. On site Cellar Door open 7 days a week. Note: You need to make a fire to use the hotubs in cottage 3 and 4, if you are not familiar with fire, book nr 1 or 2, they are electric.

Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Avalon House: The Mine Managers

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.

My place is close to parks. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). It is in the Victorian High Country and provides access to National Parks, Australian Fauna including wild horses (Brumby's). My place is ideal for people who love the outdoors, fishing hiking and camping. It is set on three acres with the Tambo River on my doorstep. Backpackers, tourists or couch potatoes also welcome. Golf $20 for 18 holes. There is just so much to do here.
