Finnsnes is located at the gateway to beautiful Senja and from Finsnes Gaard you can see the island from the edge of the quay. Stores are also within walking distance. We welcome you at Finsnes Gaard, Finnsnes and Senja and hope your stay at our place will be meeting your expectations and relaxing.

The Northern Light beach house

Brand new cabin 55 km from Tromsø city center, 45 min from the airport. Parking, 40 m from the sandy beach, views of Senja, Malangen, Hekkingen lighthouse and Sommarøya. Great hiking terrain, grocery store 1.5 km, kayak and canoe rental on Sommarøya. Enjoy the view from the house's beautiful porch or from the Jacuzzi with room for 6 people. Rental: minimum 5 consecutive days Additional price: NOK 100 per person for more than 4 The outdoor lights can be switched off with their own switch so that the Northern Lights can be seen better.

Small and cozy annex, with just what you need to stay overnight. It is located in a peaceful and rural area on Sommarøy, right by the beach. The beach is great for small walks in summer and winter. Little light pollution, so perfect for enjoying the northern lights. The annex has a good double bed and a window overlooking the sea. There is a small bathroom, with shower, sink and toilet. There is a small hallway to hang out, a fridge where you can store some food and a kettle to make some coffee or tea.

Just a little bigger than the beds. There is a water pump in the bathroom that makes some noise when you drain water. It is otherwise quiet. Bedroom 1 has 150cm bed and bedroom 2 has a 120cm bed. Unique panorama – Senja

It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outer side of the adventure island Senja. You can't get closer to nature - with a glass facade of almost 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while sitting inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern lights - it's never boring to look at the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjorden. The cabin was completed in autumn 2018 and is of high standard.
