Gården ligger nære Gjenvollhytta og Langmyra skianlegg om man vil gå på ski i oppkjørte løyper. Dagsturer til Kråkfjellet og Rensfjellet er mulig. Vassfjellet er 10 min unna og kun 30 min. til Trondheim :)

There are many hiking areas in the summer and ski areas in winter. Oppdal ski center are 35km away. A few meters you can find Buvatnet lake reachable by walk.

Arctic Dome Hosetåsen ligger i Orkland kommune. Domen ligger på en topp med skog rundt, men med en åpen og vakker utsikt utover dalen og mot fjellene i Trollheimen. Legg deg i en myk og komfortabel seng hvor du kan nyte stjernehimmelen, og våkne til en nydelig utsikt. Senk skuldrene å nyt roen naturen og utsikten gir! Fra parkeringen er det ca 600 meter å gå, ta på gode sko da stien går gjennom skog og litt myr. På vinteren må en gå på ski eller truger da det ikke er brøytet vei.
