Holiday rentals with lake access in Berkshire County

My husband and I loved our stay at this house. It checked all our boxes. It was clean, spacious, had a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and a barbecue grill. It also came with lots of personality. We ate breakfast at the local country store/cafe called Sherwood Forest most days. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

We stayed at Caroline and Nathaniel’s beautiful home over the winter and celebrated NYE’s. Their house is beautiful and perched on top of the hills overlooking a lake. The view is absolutely stunning in the mornings. The house was well maintained and clean. The hosts were very active in communicating with us where we needed anything or if we needed to be aware of any situations regarding the house. I would definitely stay here again.

I want to say thank you to Christopher and his family for allowing my friends and me to stay in their home. it was clean, beautiful, serene and exactly what it was described to be. Christopher, your suggestions on golf courses for my friends and me were exceptional. I hope we were as good of guests as you were hosts!

Adam's place was the perfect location for our annual spring fishing trip. Plenty of space for everyone to relax their own way let still be connected to the group. Kitchen is well equipped for anything you would want to cook with other extras like coffee maker and blender. It's a short walk to the docks which makes fishing for a full day convenient to take breaks / have lunch etc. The boathouse is a nice added amenity which allows storage of coolers, drinks and ice which is also very close proximity to the fire pit. We are already looking forward to next year's trip.

Beautiful home and a great location!

The property was as described, beautifully situated by the water in a beautiful location. Lee, the host, provided prompt and responsive communication. the unique outdoor shower and toilet (incinerator toilet) were acceptable for us, but the space was somewhat limited for two adults and two children; it may be better suited for two guests.

Great place to spend quiet time with loved ones and enjoy nature!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights during the memorial weekend. (Kids 5&3). Initially, I booked this house because I thought it was near the Southwick zoo , found out It wasn’t it’s about 2 hours away. Bummed , but we found so much to do even though the weather was so rainy and cold the entire time. Beautiful views, beautiful lake with lots of wildlife. We enjoyed the canoe and paddle boat. The hot tub was wonderful and very clean. The hang out game area in the basement was cool. Games and books for the kids. The main level is beautiful with vaulted ceilings and a screened in porch. wonderful to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning. We enjoyed the fire pit by the lake. Overall we had a great time! Definitely would stay here again! - This house is about 45 minutes from Six Flags and Look Park.

The location and space were great! I worked remotely during most of my stay and was very comfortable with my set up. The dining table was a perfect desk, with good lighting and wifi! Slept well due to it being so quiet at night. A positive experience overall.

Had a great weekend at Ann’s place! The location is perfect for going to nearby Mt Greylock, other parks and attractions. A nice breakfast/lunch restaurant and an ice cream shop with food are right next door! It’s also walking distance or a short drive from the lake, Baker’s golf (driving range and miniature golf), and a few other restaurants. The house is old but everything is clean and comfortable. Our 65-pound dog enjoyed leashed walk in the huge yard in the morning. Ann is very responsive and friendly. We loved it!

We loved the studio and felt right at home It was a perfect place to stay while exploring the Berkshires, close to both outdoor activities and the offerings of the town. We especially appreciated the beautiful view from the studio which enhanced rest and relaxation. Jill and Steve were great hosts. Highly recommend.

Wife, me and two teenage "kids" staied at Steves between Christmas and New Years. The location is amazing and the views from the living room were beautiful. So much sunlight come through the large windows that one could sunbath indoors. The two rooms downstairs were large and well equipped. Kitchen fully functional and well proportionate bathroom. The mudroom downstairs was great to take off our heavier winter gear and shoes. Did I mention the heated floors? Would recommend to any family looking for a quiet place to rechange. Should be equally nice in Summer too.

Can’t say enough good things about this find near Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires! Stayed for three nights while skiing two days over presidents weekend. Hosts were very thoughtful and flexible. Left cookies and s’mores kit which were a nice touch. During snowstorm steps to the unit and walking areas were kept shoveled and salted. For us and our two teenagers this offered the perfect alternative to pricey on mountain lodging and was only about a 13 minute drive. There was even a bonus game room which could probably serve as a small additional bedroom if someone had the need, it certainly has room for a twin air mattress. Our two kids shared the queen bed with minimal fighting, but that would’ve been our back up plan😂. Anyway, they were super responsive, check in and check out was easy and will certainly look to stay again if we get up there to ski again this year !

Beautiful location overlooking the pond, conveniently located to towns and attractions, and private. Cozy, well stocked kitchen/cooking gear, everything you need as a contained retreat or a home base while exploring the Berkshires.

The space is very clean. I stayed 2 nights and brought my dog with me. The only thing that I was surprised about was that there wasn't a door to the bedroom area. I had looked at the pictures and assumed the door I saw was to the bedroom but it was a closet. The bed area is separated by a partial wall but not an actual door. Something to keep in mind if you have additional people sleeping on the pull out couch.

Lauri’s place was terrific. Exactly as advertised. Adorable, clean, very comfortable. Lauri provided excellent guidance and was exceedingly helpful and pleasant. She bent over backwards to make everything perfect. We absolutely would stay there again and highly recommend her place to anyone who wants a quiet Lakeside getaway offered by a pleasant and competent and gracious host. We have stayed at many Airbnbs and this is one of the best. Thank you, Lauri and Matt.

I cannot emphasize enough how responsive, helpful and accommodating Julie was before and during our stay. The property is as shown, interior was clean and beds very comfortable. The walk to the lake is a short, peaceful one. It is a lovely setting with quiet neighbors. Highly recommend for anyone visiting nearby Berkshire attractions or for a quiet getaway near a beautiful lake!

This place was an excellent location for basing our trip to the Berkshires. We liked looking out over the lake, and walking around the community.

Perfect spot for a peaceful, relaxing Berkshires weekend and/or visit to Tanglewood. Beautiful location of the cabin among the trees, super convenient to lots of hiking, cute towns to wander with great food, and town beach for swimming. And, couldn't be better situated for catching a show at Tanglewood. Sonia was also helpful, responsive, and friendly about all of the preparation details and made the logistics of the trip simple.

Enjoy your stay at this beautiful home. Looking for a get away from everyone this is the place to stay. House was perfect when we arrived and everything was smooth and simple from start to finish!

The cottage was easy to check into, clean, and very cozy. It was decorated for the holidays which was perfect for our weekend. We enjoyed the fireplace and the games in the cabin as well! I would consider coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor area and lake. Ann-Marie and Carl provided really helpful instructions on how to get to the house.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything and made us feel right at home. We could not have been more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

Loved the quick weekend getaway from the city! Wanted somewhere we could stretch out into.. which Ayren’s house fully is.. loved playing the many board games provided and watching movies in the late evenings.. plus a few walks down to the lake and drive to town which is less than 15 min away.. A very communicative host with clear instructions and well laid out amenities and basic kitchen condiments.. Thanks again for a great weekend !

Andrew and Alison's place was outstanding! I have been coming to the Berkshires my entire life to visit family. Typically we need to choose between being close to events in Pittsfield and the surrounding towns vs. beautiful surroundings. This place had the best of both. The scenery on Pontoosuc Lake was absolutely stunning both day and night. The view can be enjoyed from the spacious porch as well as the kitchen and living area with large windows. Additionally, the house is very close to shops and excellent restaurants. The home itself was clean, well-furnished and stocked and very comfortable. The entire process was very easy and Andrew was very responsive. We cannot wait to return and are grateful for a wonderful getaway.
