We had a great stay. It was just what we needed for a weekend away from the City. The house was clean, the fenced in yard was great for the dog, hot tub was really nice, and the fire pit was great for a chilly night. We felt right at home and would definitely stay again. The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

We really enjoyed the house being private and peaceful but also a short walk into town. We conquered the hill a couple times even though the western route into town was easier. The house was exactly as described and perfect for a couple nights stay.

This place was a delight, beautiful views of the fields and pasture land, farmsteads, and lots of culture with the Amish and Mennonite communities. The host was so gracious, they shared local fresh strawberries, milk, eggs, and pastries. Just 20 minutes from the Sight and Sound theatre. Our drives through the area were great, with stops at local nurseries, farm stands, and markets. We can’t wait to return!

Cute, comfortable home. Very quiet and scenic, even had a deer stop by for breakfast our first morning there. Home had everything we needed. Sheila made this a great first experience.

This home is a hidden gem and a perfect getaway for peace and relaxation. Mark went above and beyond to ensure that my brother and I had everything we needed for our stay. Cleanliness was excellent and the property surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Lake Harmony was breathtaking in and of itself. We hope to stay again someday and highly recommend Whitney Cottage. 10/10

Malcom’s place is great! This is our 5th time staying here, coming back in September again. Very convenient location, EWR is 20 mins away. Uber delivers all types of food. Place is secluded and very private. Huge clean and kept back yard.

This is a very clean house to stay in! It is as the description says recently renovated! It had plenty of space for us! We enjoyed seeing the deer from the outdoor patio area! Would recommend choosing this house if you need a place to stay in this area!

I’ve returned to Patricia’s property for a few years now to hang out with old friends. The house is always clean and the furniture is comfortable. The large back deck and covered front porch are great spaces for hanging out and catching up on events of the previous year. There are a few good restaurants nearby and Jim Thorpe is a short drive away. If you prefer to cook your own meals, the kitchen is well equipped. We always enjoy our stays at this property.

We really enjoyed the privacy and serene environment of the Welsh Mountain Cottage. It has a nice two-bedroom layout plus a spacious back deck to take in the sounds and sights of nature. The cottage was super peaceful and clean with comfy beds and pillows. Grateful to have stayed at this excellent and convenient location in the Lancaster area!

Perfect place for a family getaway. Jules & Mike put effort into the little details of their place that really pushed it over the top. Coffee for the keurig, wireless chargers in the rooms, etc. The house was exactly as pictured and very clean. The neighborhood was great. We took out the kayak, walked to the park, etc. Very friendly walkable neighborhood. Just keep an eye out for bears 🐻
