Alper and Banu are proactive hosts. They are friendly and caring hosts ensuring things are well for you. The location is right at Taksim square however when travelling with I suggest you to take a cab as the house is at uphill. Also the house is spacious however and pretty. There are very good restaurants and cafes around and the house is at a happening place. Alper ensured we feel at home despite language barrier.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. I would definitely come back. Dilek was so kind to us. The place feels like home in Istanbul. It was the perfect location for us.

The place itself was amazing—just as described and exactly like the photos. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. For anyone traveling to Istanbul by car, this location is ideal since it offers free parking right behind the building. The host was incredibly responsive, available almost 24/7, and checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed—he truly cared about our comfort. Everything was perfect, especially the hospitality. Highly, highly recommended!

My stay at this apartment in Istanbul was absolutely wonderful in every way! The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished with modern, stylish decor. Its location is excellent — very close to Taksim Square and right in the heart of the city. The street is mostly flat with a slight uphill walk, but it was easy and not a problem at all. I would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Nihal and her family, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her communication felt more like family than just a host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, if I return to Turkey, I will definitely book with her again. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for comfort, a great location, and a warm, friendly host.

The apartment is impeccable exactly as in the photos, it is spacious, well equipped with very good quality furniture and everything you need, in a very nice and well-kept building. The location is extraordinary, a few steps from restaurants and transportation. The staff is very friendly, with excellent communication and helpful, they even offered us transportation to the airport which is convenient and at a fair price. I highly recommend it.

Great place, really nice neighborhood and Moussaab is very helpful. It's a tight place for eight people but workable and great value for money.

The flat was a perfect place for our family to stay for 10 days. It was in a fantastic area within a short walking distance of the Galata area and a 5 minute walk from the tram stop, from which is was very easy to get to the Sultanahmet area (or you can do the longer walk across the Galata bridge!). Ömer was extremely helpful and responsive, and made us feel very welcome.

Had a fantastic stay! The flat was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, and the host was responsive and helpful. Great location too - T1 tram station, 5 minutes on funicular to Taksim square. Highly recommend!

An absolutely amazing place to stay! Living room overlooks Galataport and we got to see quite a few large cruise ships. Loved all the resident kitties, one even had three kittens in the courtyard. Air conditioning is a godsend and the fan in the bedroom was perfect. Fair warning, it’s either up or down quite some stairs or a steep hill to get everywhere, but honestly we loved that. A great workout!

We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights and had a generally positive experience. The listing is accurate, and the place actually feels more spacious and welcoming than in the photos. Pros: Great location in a quiet, safe neighborhood. There's an elevator, which is a big plus. The host’s support team was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine and detergent — very convenient! Cons: Some of the bathroom fixtures are showing their age (worn faucet, marks on the shower glass). There was no mosquito net in the bedroom, and the air conditioner there was quite noisy. We also noticed some ants in the kitchen during our stay, and the soundproofing could be better — we could hear our neighbors pretty clearly at times. Overall, a solid stay with some minor issues. Would recommend if you're not too sensitive to noise.

Fantastic apartment. Can’t beat the location! Murat was super friendly, met us downstairs and made sure everything was ok before leaving. Couldn’t recommend it enough. The street gets busy during the day as it leads straight to Galata Tower but from the bedroom you don’t hear any noise and can sleep peacefully. 10/10

Such an amazing stay at Sebiha’s place! The view of the Bosphorous ( though restricted) is spectacular! the full length glass adds to the charm . The sofa and the bed both very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with all cooking essentials - in fact we cooked our breakfast everyday & enjoyed dining with the amazing view. But the best thing about the apartment is its location - very well positioned. It’s so close to Galata tower, Taksim street, metro station. Just a few steps up, you reach the supermarket & just a few steps down, you reach the bus stop ! Very convenient for travel . Highly recommended place for long time stays also.

Each morning we left this very comfortable apartment to easily reach and explore all the jewels of Istanbul. In the evening we would return to our Beyoğlu area to enjoy a meal and drinks with so many restaurants and bars to choose from. The view was great from our balcony and we felt totally safe everywhere we went day or night. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed . Bilge was the perfect host .

Great stay in the heart of the city right next to Taksim. Easy to find, just a short climb away from the main attractions. The apartment is well fitted with everything one might need, is clean and has an airy feel. Since it is in quite a central location it might have a bit of noise background but otherwise perfect for most visitors.

My family and I enjoyed a one-week stay in this cozy apartment. The accommodation has all the necessary amenities for a pleasant experience. The windows face the private garden, therefore, it is very quiet in the apartment. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the tram station offering easy access to the Sultanahmet district. Several steps away from Galata Tower and numerous excellent restaurants. Our host Dilek was incredibly helpful and readily available. I would happily return to this apartment.

Lovely district with many good bars and restaurants. Very clean flat with comfortable bed and sofa in the living room. Great view from the roof terrace. A fantastic option in Cihangir district.

We had a great time in Istanbul at this apartment located in Beyoğlu, a short walk to Galata Tower. The apartment is very clean, recently renovated, quiet, and perfectly equipped. It has a separate bedroom with a very comfortable mattress, ideal for a good rest after a day of sightseeing. The host, Ram or Karim, is extremely available and attentive. They really know how to welcome: bottled water in quantity, toilet paper, everything is planned, nothing is missing. The location is exceptional: 2 minutes from Istiklal Avenue, the most commercial in Istanbul, with many good deals (much cheaper than in Paris!), while being away from the noise. Also close to the tunnel to reach the Galata Bridge, the tram to get to the old town, and a few minutes from Şişli. This is, without a doubt, one of the best locations to experience Istanbul. The place was very clean and updated. Right next to Galata tower so everything was in walking distance. Apartment is on the second floor but there is an elevator to get up so that is very helpful. The host Volkan is very responsive and gives great recommendations. He is very friendly and the best host making you feel right at home with the great amenities and providing everything you need

We feel very lucky to have stayed at Mine's apartment during our trip in Istanbul. Accommodated all our needs as a 8 people group and felt really comfortable and clean. Location is prime in a neighborhood full of life and very convenient for exploring the center. Mine was also excellent host, very friendly and helpful. Totally recommended!

Great place to stay if you want an authentic feel in a local neighbourhood which is walkable to main sights. The apartment itself is beautiful, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming feel. Benny was an exceptional host -thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, I asked about doing some laundry and he kindly picked up washing powder for us without even being asked. The fridge was stocked with water, which was a lovely touch. The neighborhood, while a little run-down in parts, felt deeply local and gave us the rare opportunity to experience the real Istanbul, away from the busy tourist spots. It was peaceful and quiet during the day, yet just a short walk or quick taxi ride from the bustling markets, main attractions, and business districts. Benny’s local guide was a great read, full of interesting recommendations. We were able to walk to most places, and when needed, local taxis were easy to use—just make sure the driver turns on the meter before you go.

We had a great stay at Berna’s. Location was excellent and loads of recommendations from a friendly host. Would stay again!
