I am writing this review after spending 3 days with suraj and hamlet wood stays! This review is honest transparent and totally based on live experience! I had my best 3 days spending in hamletwood stay it is so nearby with market food places and so near to advantures places! Bike on rent is nearby grocery is nearby i had to catch the bus for manali the bus stop is downstairs! I had very good brother connection with suraj he guided me very well about the places being honest about all the extra fares in the end moment he provided us one day stay extra ! I strongly recommend everyone to book this stay and enjoy your sissu trip! Thank you 🫶🏻

I had a great time at Shivam's Airbnb, the view from this room is wonderful, the hosts are warm and responsive, the place is away from the crowds (even if it's a bit of a hike); there are also amazing trails within 3min walk from the house. The room itself is very cozy with plenty of blankets, sitting area, a kettle; the bathroom was a bit basic and could use more insolation and some toilet paper.

With the most beautiful sunset in the area to beautiful forest trails around to a very helpful staff, Ashish's place is a perfect for anyone who wishes to stay away from noise and crowd.

The most comfortable and comforting home. It's not just a homestay but it feels right at home. I am unfortunately not feeling well and Vikas and his family has been cooking for me, checking in on me. The genuine kindness and care is very special to receive, when you are on the road travelling and feeling unwell. There's everything you need, everything is clean. The decor with plenty of indoor plants, creates such a soft nourishing environment. The layout of the house have pockets of sitting areas with a nice sense of privacy between each room. The shared kitchen is well equipped and there is a small convenience store selling vegetable, just a stone thrown away from the house. Being surrounded by nature is the pure beauty of this place. There's peace and tranquility from the first step of my arrival. I have already booked my return stay and looking forward to enjoying the space again. Gratitude for Vikas and his family's kindness.

I stayed at Gulam bhai’s houseboat for a few days, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions of my trip. He’s not just a host — he’s like a local buddy who genuinely wants you to see the real Kashmir. Super helpful, humble, and always ready to guide you without any touristy nonsense. The houseboat itself was super cozy, and evenings with Kashmiri kahwa and long talks with Gulam bhai made it feel like home. If you’re planning a trip, trust me — stay here, listen to his suggestions, and your trip will be something you’ll always remember.

Rooms were sparkling clean and the mountain view from the bed is one of the best in manali leh highway. Shubhra was one gem of the host , always running around to keep the guest engaged. The food were prepared with lot of love and tasty. There is a couple of villages to explore nearby with picturesque location or settle down in the cozy common room to chill out. Place is right on the highway and there is an essential shop just a couple of blocks away but still the rooms are tucked away nicely with just towering mountain and stary night sky to worry about. Shubhra's place would offer the perfect pitstop to your leh roadtrip just couple of km before you enter the cluttered jispa town.

Ria is great host, they are a lovely family. We had to extend our stay last minute and Ria was kind enough to allow her space. If you prefer to be midst the nature away from the chaos this place is definitely worth. Her sourdough breads, jams , muesli and much more is definitely worth trying. Please have food prepared by her its health. Everything is fresh. Ria's apouse Hari Das ji is a wonderful person. He is a trek guide and it was great experience to have him along to explore few places. Ria and her family are disciplined and they close their day early, so ensure to be mindful of this. in case you step out late evening/return late night ensure to get your water jug filled or any other support required before you leave so that there is no need of bothering them at late hours. Unbelievable Gem in the Mountains – Feels Like Switzerland! I honestly couldn’t believe that a place like this exists in India — especially at this price! Having traveled to Europe, including Switzerland, I can confidently say that this stay matches the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail I’ve experienced there. The property is immaculate — rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully organized with warm and comfortable bedding. The private bathrooms were spotless, and I was amazed to find that even the toilet had a stunning view! The kitchen was sparkly clean and fully equipped with everything needed to make tea or coffee, which was a lovely touch. But what truly sets this place apart is the view — absolutely breathtaking and incredibly rare to find. It’s the kind of peaceful beauty that stays with you long after you leave. The host was also exceptional — friendly, caring, and very responsive, which made the stay even more pleasant. I would 100% recommend this stay.
