Apartment holiday rentals in Big Bay

The host was super friendly and flexibel. Late arrival was prefect arranged. The appartement was super and well equipped. Very clean as well. Everything you need is on walking distance. We would suggest a normal double bed in the spare room because now it is more for a family with children then for 4 adults but that is a choise of the owner which choise I understand if you want to facilitate for families. The communication was very friendly and fast and when leaving the appartement for going home was done without seeing someone, very easy with a special key instruction. We want defenitively come back. This Airbnb exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided great local recommendations. Check-in was smooth, and all amenities were exactly as described. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again!

This 2 bed apartment with double garage is in a gated secure complex of around 70 units and is in immaculate condition. It is in an ideal location and only a minute’s drive or a 5 minutes walk to the beach area at Eden on the Bay. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and it is tastefully furnished, equipped to an extremely high standard and specification and the decor is amazing. It has everything necessary for a comfortable stay including a bread maker, coffee machine, washing machine, tumble dryer. The apartment, which offers views of Robben Island and a partial view of Table Mountain, is highly secure, alarmed and has a safe. Immediately opposite is the Seaside Village shopping complex which includes a supermarket, 4 restaurants, chemist amongst others. It is easy to understand why the apartment owner Leon is rated a superhost. He is extremely likeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. He responded to and dealt with our minor queries extremely quickly. We will return!

We had an absolutely amazing stay in this flat! The location is truly perfect – incredibly convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby and just a short walk to the sea. The flat itself was fantastic, equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. A standout feature was the internet; it worked perfectly, and the battery backup system was a lifesaver during loadshedding, allowing us to stay connected and even work without interruption 24/7. We did encounter a small issue with the iron board (and it was our fault), which we felt bad about, but the host was incredibly responsive and replaced it straight away at no extra cost – fantastic service! While the flat is on the ground floor and doesn't have a view, this was a very minor point for us considering all the positives. It's definitely a 5-star place, and we wouldn't hesitate to book it again. We truly hope to return!

The apartment had this beautiful, amazing sea view — the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. The location is perfect: peaceful, scenic, and just a short walk to The On Rocks, a fantastic local restaurant serving fresh seafood and delicious cocktails right by the ocean.

Kevin was flexible with check-in times, very friendly and a great host. The place was nicely clean, tidy with a lovely view of the ocean. We had a nice welcome. Will definitely be back.

What a gem of a place. We had such a beautiful stay for my wife’s birthday weekend. The views are amazing, it was cold and Mandy made sure we had ample wood to just stay inside in the evenings and enjoy the fireplace. Mandy was a fantastic fantastic host and she baked a fresh cake for my wife. We are definitely come back in the summer.

The place was great, very clean, easy check-in, detailed instructions on what to do. That’s what stood out for me, like literally the step-by-step instructions on what to do and where to find what. The hosts were also very helpful, very responsive and responded on time. The place also matches the pictures, what you see is what you get.

The location is in the very center of the seapoint, 5 minutes walk to the embankment, there are many cafes nearby, 2 minutes walk to the grocery store. Very convenient location. In the evening, beautiful sunsets are visible from the window. The apartment has everything you need, there was no need for anything. The host is very hospitable, answered all questions very quickly. Loved everything about Julie’s place. Beautiful apartment with a sea view. Perfect location with nice restaurants. The host is a very nice person. They went out of their way to get my baby a feeding chair. I have never experienced such kindness in all the places I have booked through Airbnb. Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Waking up, opening the curtains and watching the sun rise over the sea, whilst sipping a morning coffee was truly special. He best start to the day. A fantastic base to explore from and it was lovely to come back to and relax at the end of the day, felt very homely.
