Along the sea road to Skaland - 4 km - the nature experiences are in line - white sandstones - sea and mountain formations. Skaland offers a cafe, a great grocery store and a local pub. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Sommarøya is a small village 1 hour outside Tromsø. There is a bus twice a day on weekdays, during the weekend a bus runs Sunday evening. There is good parking for the rental car. In addition to listed rooms, the house has a room with a double sofa bed. This room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. There are also a room with a singel bed. Animals are allowed at request.
