Cottage holiday rentals in Black Lake, Thetford Mines

The home was perfect for our family get together. Beautiful view of St. Lawrence river right at our door. The home is as described we enjoyed the outdoor area, hot tub, pool table and all the amenities included in the rental. The unit was one of the best stocked that I have encountered using Airbnb. Marie-Pier was very responsive with our requests and we highly recommend renting this home to anyone visiting the area. Perfect location for trips to Montreal and Quebec.

The house is very cozy and in an excellent location. The sun comes up over the St. Lawrence in the morning and the neighborhood is very quiet and private. The house has a home feel to it versus a sterile hotel room feel. Thank you for a nice stay!

Les lieux étaient propres et chaleureux. La vue était splendide et nous avons aimé le spa! Côté rapport qualité prix, je trouvais ça bien mais un peu dispendieux car la salle de bain était assez ordinaire et la télévision aussi. Je recommande pour 5 personnes et plus, pour l’espace. pour deux, peut être moins, car nous n’avons pas eu besoin du sous-sol mais il y a la tranquillité.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen with everything we needed for cooking. The setting is beautiful, perfectly situated for an after dinner stroll to the pier to watch the sunset. Would highly recommend.

Le chalet bénéficie d’un emplacement stratégique : bien qu’entouré de verdure et parfaitement isolé, il se trouve à seulement quelques minutes de la municipalité d’Eastman, où l’on retrouve tous les services essentiels (pharmacie, épicerie fine, supermarché Tradition, petites boutiques locales, etc.). A quelques kilomètres de là se trouve la célèbre boulangerie Dora, une véritable institution depuis plus de 50 ans, notamment reconnue pour ses beignes. On y trouve également de délicieux plats préparés de type cuisine familiale, que nous avons testés avec plaisir. Le chalet lui-même est impeccablement entretenu, très bien équipé et particulièrement confortable. Les lits sont douillets, l’aménagement intérieur est à la fois fonctionnel et chaleureux. L’atmosphère générale invite à la détente — parfaite pour une véritable cure de sommeil. Nous avons pleinement profité du confort intérieur.

Très bonne communication avec Marc. C'etait ma première expérience avec Airbnb et le chalet était très proppre et correspond au photos. Malgré la météo qui n'était pas en notre faveur, nous avons profiter du confort et de l'emplacement avec une belle vue sur le lac. Je vous le recommande.

Moi et mon conjoint somme allé avec mes parents visiter la famille dans la région. Première fois chez la maison de DOM, nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour! le paysage est splendide, nous avons même vu des chevreuils qui étaient dans le champs en face de la maison. Jolie maison, très propre, c'est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Excellent service également, si on a une question, on a une réponse rapidement; excellents hôtes. Merci encore.

This place is a clean, homey, and private cottage located right across the road from a beautiful lake. Easy access to both Mt. Orford and Magog. We spent most of the day away from there and by the time we arrived in the evening, there were not many cars on the road. We just sat in the living room and watched the beautiful sunset through the large widows! There is a public swing bench and picnic tables across the road, too! Before booking, Pascal was very responsive and accommodated our specific needs last minute with no problem. We brought our pup with us, so we wish there were some options to take her for a walk but I understand that’s not something that the owner can influence. After reading other reviews, we were a bit worried about some potential problems but there were absolutely no issues with any weird smells, cleanliness, or bugs. It was spotless. The bed has a mattress that can feel a bit hard for some but we prefer it over too soft so no problem for us. 100% would come back!

A great place to stay with your family and friends. Lots of room and the kitchen is nicely furnished with cooking equipment. Also the two fridges work well if you cook for a large group. Remember to bring your towels and toiletries. It’s clearly marked in the instructions but none of us caught it.

We could not have chosen a better place than Réjean's chalet to celebrate Christmas with our family. We've been renting airbnb's for many years, but this was the most peaceful and fully-stocked rental we've ever come across. The owners thought of everything to make our stay cozy and inviting. Réjean made sure we had everything we needed ahead of our stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the surroundings were picturesque. We would go snowshoeing in the woods and enjoy a nice wood-burning fireplace and hot chocolate when we got back. And our boys loved sliding on the slope! We couldn't imagine a better spot for our family of 7 and hope to come back soon!

This was a beautiful place to stay! The yard with the pond was lovely. The house was clean and comfortable, with enough space for all of our family. I appreciated the recommendations of where to visit, we enjoyed the bakery and the Fromagerie nearby. Very enjoyable stay!

Anne’s home is PERFECT! I am sitting on the farmers porch, the bright sunshine warming my face, relaxing with the sounds of a tranquil stream side by. The sky is crystal blue. So wonderfully calming. Magnifique maison. Ultra propre, et elle était vraiment bien organisée. Les hôtes répondent rapidement à nos questions. Tout était accessible à pied. Je la recommanderai facilement.
