Kingfisher's Retreat

LauraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had an incredibly peaceful and relaxing stay at Kingfisher Retreat on Mill Farm. The safari-style tent was beautifully designed and tucked away in a secluded spot, offering complete privacy away from the main campsite. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and fully equipped for a comfortable stay - though a toaster would have been a nice little addition. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic, with underfloor heating that made it warm and cozy morning and night. Although we spent most days exploring the Norfolk area, we could have easily spent all our time at the retreat, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquility. Communication before our visit was smooth, and we received a warm welcome from Lillie. The fresh bread, milk, and eggs were thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Overall, it was a truly peaceful and private escape - perfect for switching off and reconnecting with nature. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Cosy coastal cottage. Short walk to pretty beach

NenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great stay. Our 5 year old son loved it, especially the bunk bed. Comfortable large bed in the main bedroom. Nice and cozy front room. There’s a great pub a few minutes up the road. The food was incredible. Best burger iv had in ages and I love burgers. Very close to the sea with a stone beach. Only 15 min drive to wells next the sea which is why we booked there. Our favourite sandy beach in the UK so far.

A charming converted Wood Shed in unique setting

Superb cottage. Compact but everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Private, ample parking. Peaceful and so very relaxing. Close to the places we love to visit in North Norfolk and no traffic jams. Probably the best we have stayed in.

Spinks Nest - Interior designed vintage cottage

A beautiful and peaceful spot tucked away in nature. The cottage is stylishly designed with lovely touches throughout, and the surrounding woodland makes it feel really special. Perfect for a quiet weekend escape. We left feeling calm, cosy, and completely recharged.

Hideaway heaven, huge grounds, private retreat

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazingly idyllic little spot this is. Some places just have a way of healing the soul and this is one of them. Beautiful little hideaway retreat in the middle of English rolling landscape. The house is just beautifully decorated as well, with plenty of space. We went with a baby and 4 year old and it was perfect. There were even toys to play with :) walkable to tasty pubs and close to all the wonderful stuff North Norfolk has to offer. Jessica was also an excellent host from start to finish. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit of peace from the world

The Walled Garden at Thursford Castle

MattRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Sally’s beautiful place for our mini-moon, Sally organised flowers, chocolate and champagne as a surprise for my wife on arrival, and helped us with renting bikes for a bike ride through the local area. The place was spotless and we loved every minute of it. Definitely one to remember, thank you Sally!

Hope Cottage- Flint cottage close to Morston Quay.

AndrianaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a very relaxing stay at Hope Cottage in the Easter holidays with our two kids. It is a spacious home, spotlessly clean, with a beautiful garden which can be enjoyed from the conservatory if the weather isn’t cooperating. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering and the extra treats - fresh flowers in the bedrooms, Prosecco and home made jam and chutney in the fridge on arrival - really made it special. Jill and Peter were friendly and helpful but never intrusive. The cottage is well located to explore north Norfolk and the walk to Blakeney along the coastal path is gorgeous and accessible to kids. Only disappointment was that the Anchor is closed - hopefully not forever. Thank you Peter and Jill.

Studio @ Stonebridge House

ArabellaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a truly lovely stay here and Martin was a friendly and brilliantly responsive host. Having recently broken my toe I was not up to my usual long walks, bike rides and swims ( all of which would be very possible from here) so we chose carefully - hoping to find somewhere that in itself would feel like a treat venue just to sit and read a book or listen to the birds. Having its own tiny, rose filled garden through the kitchen door with views across the water meadows to Cley church meant we could do just that and it was also a great place for a glass of wine and simple supper. Being situated just in land ( and away from any main roads) behind Cley and Blakeney is perfect and we would happily choose this spot again. The barn has everything you need and feels spacious in spite of being one main space. I think we would be less likely to book it in the winter. Although set within beautiful surroundings there are no views from inside main room.
