The location is only 1 km from the municipality center (Handkleppveien 26) with most services including medical assistance if needed

Grandma's house from the 50s with sea view

Welcome to Farmorhuset in Nykvåg, in the middle of beautiful Vesterålen. The house was built in 1954 and combines nostalgic 50s style with today's amenities for a comfortable stay. I have inherited this house from my father, who in turn inherited it from his mother, and it has therefore been important for me to preserve the soul and history of the house. Farmorhuset has three bedrooms with a total of four beds, which makes the house perfect for both small families and groups of friends.

The house is traditional 90's house, with charging for electric cars, wifi, a great view, and a private pond. Great starterpoint for fishing trips in summertime, or watching the northern light in the winter. There are also some great hiking tours in the area! PS. For safty reasons there is a camera overlooking the dome - this is not in use when guest are booked inn.

The white sandy beach is located around 300 feet (100 meter) directly below the building. The land you walk on to reach the beach is our property. The entire beach is public and readily accessible.
