Stayed in the ground floor of a 2 level villa. Although it is not new, or quite old fashioned, but it is not run down. Beds are of Icelandic standard and comfortable. The only thing that can improve is the barely useful window shades when there is almost no night time. Eye mask is a must. Can’t complain at this price.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The house is cozy, clean, and has everything you need to spend a pleasant vacation. Lucy was kind and caring! We felt right at home

We were very warmly welcomed and they even kept the soup warm for us in the restaurant, even though we arrived when the restaurant was actually closing. Thank you so much! The mushroom soup was terrific!!! Definitely try it! :-) The room was not, as indicated, equipped with a couch, but an armchair and we also did not find a refrigerator. But it was modern, definitely exceeded our expectations of a simple room and we were positively surprised :-) Great place!

This was a fantastic little place to stay as we neared the end of our 10 day ring road journey! We checked in 30mins after the cafe closed but they still made us a full dinner and helped take it up to our room. The young woman who checked us in was responsive, helpful, and kind. The extra 10% discount at the cafe was also great! Everything was as described and it felt very homey.

Absolutely beautiful setting, quiet & peaceful. Great, clean, comfortable apartment. Very spacious, great kitchen. Owner was super friendly, introduced us to his beautiful horses, shared interesting stories, it felt like home. Highly recommend!
