House holiday rentals in Bosnia

Tonci's accommodation is a hidden gem. The approach is very steep and due to a bottleneck, it is recommended to use a small car (we rented a VW Polo and a Renault Capture). However, the hardships are definitely worth it! We were greeted around 8:30 pm by Tonci personally. He had provided a small cheese/sausage platter and showed us the apartment. Contrary to the statement that there was no hot water, there was some, you just had to turn the boiler switch. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. Up in the mountains, you have a lot of privacy. The nearest neighbors live a good 60m away. Tonci came by about every three days to maintain the pool (refill chlorine tablets and measure water level). While the pool was being refilled, there was time for questions about the surroundings and small conversations. We more than enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this accommodation.

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

Thanks a lot to you and your family, the experience was great with a lot to do. One of the days the kids refused to leave the house. The host was always checking by messages and provide recommendations for the area. For sure I will recommend the place and if I come again it will be my first choice. Best wishes

Very nice and large accommodation with private pool. Everything you needed was at the accommodation, super smooth check-in and check-out and very nice host! Everything was also clean and the rooms were large and fresh.

Probably the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! The house was spotless, pool was amazing and perfect location. The view was spectacular. The wine and burek were icing on the cake. If we ever find ourselves in the area again (and hopefully we do) we hope we will be able to stay there again!

We have just returned from a vacation in this beautiful villa and we simply have to share our delight! We were looking for accommodation that offers complete privacy and relaxation, and this villa surpassed all our expectations. Nestled amidst unspoiled nature, the villa offers an incredible sense of peace and tranquility. Starting the day with the chirping of birds and fresh air, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, was a real balm for the soul. The pool was an absolute hit! Spacious, clean and with enough deckchairs for everyone - ideal for morning refreshment or afternoon enjoyment under the sun. We especially liked that the pool was completely private, which allowed us to relax without any interference. The garden is a story in itself. Beautifully decorated, with plenty of greenery and colorful flowers, and a multitude of vegetables, it is a true work of art. Every corner of the garden exudes care and love, providing the perfect ambience for evening gatherings or simply enjoying the silence. The child loved to explore every corner! This villa is not just accommodation, but a unique experience.

I had a great stay at Tom’s villa! It’s in a beautiful setting with incredible views of the Adriatic and the mountains in the distance, with a sparkling pool and vineyards in between - stunning! Shops and restaurants nearby were open during the first few days of my stay but closed down in early October. Plenty of great restaurants in Jelsa though which was still walking distance from the villa (3km). Tom had wine, and other drinks in the fridge and snacks on the table prior to checking which was so appreciated and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking (spices, oils, etc). Don’t hesitate, if you’re looking for a great villa in a perfect setting, book Villa Tomic!

We had a very nice stay at the villa! The villa is located in a quiet area where everything is easily accessible. Marko is a super nice host, very accommodating, warm and always available for a recommendation/tip 👍🏻 The villa is well maintained and clean.

We enjoyed our meals while looking at stunning view from the balcony. Such a peaceful paradise. The place is lovely and cosy, fully stocked with everything we need. Both kids and adults enjoyed the swings outside the house. The house is well kept, modern decorated. Very suitable for family! We had a great time there and we wish could stay there longer. We fully recommend this place.

Really good value for such a beautiful place to stay. Overlooking the Neretva, with easy access to rafting companies, walks, Tito’s bunker and Konjic itself. Incredibly beautiful surroundings and a lovely house with all you might need.

Beautiful stone house with magnificent view over the sea. Very tastefully decorated. A little off the beaten track - a car is therefore highly recommended. Jovana is a great host and responds quickly. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Nikolas Airbnb was great. We had the best view and a wonderful time at the lake. The apartment was clean and the garden very beautiful. We could even rent out SUPs from Nikola and explore the lake on water. Nikola and his family are very friendly and gifted us lots of selfmade treats. We had an amazing time!

A wonderful place with an amazing host! The house is very cozy inside — you can really see the care and soul the host put into it. From the balconies and the yard, there are stunning views all around. There are two mountain lakes nearby, both within walking distance, perfect for a scenic stroll. Parking is available, along with a grill, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and hot water — everything you need for a comfortable stay. The nearest shop is a 10-15 minute drive away in Mitrovac, where you can find alcohol, food, cigarettes, and IQOS sticks — everything you need to restock. The host herself brought us pancakes and was always available, responding quickly to all our questions. The host’s neighbor can also bake a pie for a small fee — we ordered a large one for four people, and it was so filling that we didn’t eat for another five hours — absolutely fantastic! The host speaks English well, so communication is hassle-free. Highly recommended — 10/10!

We had an incredibly beautiful vacation and a great time all around! We were warmly welcomed at check-in - with a lovingly arranged plate that not only looked great, but was also really delicious. One evening, our hosts even grilled for us and spoiled us with delicious grill plates - that was a real highlight! The accommodation was equipped with everything you need on vacation – down to the smallest detail. There was really nothing missing. And if something was needed, the hosts brought it to us immediately and easily. In addition, there were great restaurant recommendations and always an open ear for questions or requests. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating and appreciative – you just felt completely comfortable and welcome. We highly recommend this place and would come back any time. Maja's house is beautifully located, on a hillside overlooking the sea, the islands of Hvar and Brac and mountains. We were traveling with the dog and could take many beautiful walks from the house. The house is well furnished and the icing on the cake is the huge pool, where you can enjoy the wonderful sunsets. Maja welcomed us warmly and was always available for questions.

Our family had the most wonderful week at Villa Lipa. Duje and his parents made us feel very welcome in their lovely house with the most magnificent view over the mountains. They always answered our questions fast and helped us regardless of what we needed assistants with. The house was lovely with the jacuzzi, and we appreciated that you had several different cozy places outside to hang in for dinner, drinks, breakfast, card games and barbeques. There was always a perfect spot. The garden was well kept, and we could even pick grapes and taste fresh tomatoes and herbs from the garden. The house was clean and the beds comfortable. We could park the car just outside the house, you will need a car if you stay here but the beaches are still close and other attractions as well. Here we relaxed and had a wonderful stay and would recommend a stay at Villa Lipa any day.

This place is absolutely like the pictures let you imagine. Peaceful und privat. It was great watching the amazing view to the Sea in the hammock with different colours at different times of the day and night. The apartment was well equipment Kitchen and clean spaces. Spacious parkingspot for even a big car. We're coming back, thanks Marko! 😊

Very nice place, located on a quiet street with a convenience store. Private parking is a real plus. The accommodation is located about ten minutes from the large tourist square of Sarajevo. It's a good base to explore the main attractions and only twenty minutes from the airport. The apartment is very nice and well-equipped. Melisa was responsive when we needed help. I recommend it.

Had a lovely stay at Jelena’s place. We’re two families with young children (one 3 yrs and two infants 6 months) and the apartment and it’s outdoors gave us everything we needed for the week! Great views over the mountains. We loved that we had the pool by our selves and many sitting areas in shade in the garden. There were always somewhere we could sit outside depending on the wheather. Close to supermarket, beaches, Omiš town etc when we wanted to do something. Jelena was very kind, helpful and gave our stay the extra touch! Would have loved to stay another week. Truly recommend!

Everything was perfect, the accommodation was just as expected and the pool areas was even better than we thought. Antea is so friendly, you feel welcomed and helped with information, a taxi number for getting round the island and restaurant recommendations. If you want to visit Jelsa, stay here!!
