Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. The bamboo shoots of Otaki are famous for their low bitterness and delicious taste, and are best eaten from late March to late April. If you take another step, you will find a location with sea, mountains, rivers, valleys, and black water hot springs.(Within 10-30 minutes by car) You can use it as a base to enjoy the nature of Boso.Lake Takataki is famous worldwide for its Wakasagi fishing, the magnetic reversal that occurred hundreds of thousands of years ago, and the Chibanian.(The visitor center is scheduled to open in 3 years) The facility is located in a place overlooking the Isuzu River, and the ground is bedrock. If you come by car, it will be 20 minutes from Ichihara Tsurumai IC on the Ken-O Expressway. It takes 80 minutes by express bus from Tokyo Station to Otaki. It is less than 1 hour by car from Haneda Airport and 1 hour and 10 minutes by car from Narita Airport.
