Terlingua Belle & Private Bath, 15 mins to BBNP

Terlingua Belle is a furnished 13 foot glamping tent with heat, air conditioning and a private bathhouse located just minutes from the Ghosttown. The tent is set up on a private "nook" on the property - no other tents or tipis on the property! Comfortable outdoor seating makes for an amazing view of the night sky as well as beautiful sunrises. Lighted pathways lead from the parking area to the tent and from the tent to the bathhouse. Belle is located about 1 mile off the highway on a dirt road.

Locations is a short 25 min drive to Big Bend National Park and 30 mins south of Alpine. 5 mins from camp you can find the local burro store where you can grab some groceries, water, alcohol and other necessities. 10 mins from camp you can find Terlingua Ranch Lodge where you can shower for $2, do some laundry and they even have a pool for a fee.

Top of the hill campsite overlooking Big Bend

Our launch pad is located directly on Hwy-118 just 10 minutes away from Big Bend National Park and 15 minutes away from the ghost town. We have outdoor and indoor toilets and hot showers. We will provide you with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Please remember that water in the desert is very scarce, please limit your showers to 5 minutes. Attention, a 5 minute walk uphill requieres to reach your site and you must bring your own tent!

Conveniently located fifteen miles from the entrance of Big Bend National Park. Less than one mile off hwy 118 on an all-weather, easy access road, with designated parking for each site. Shade sail, tent pad, fire ring, picnic table, outhouse, trash cans, wifi, and charging station provided. One mile from the Lazy Bear Saloon which serves beer, wine, food, and party favors. Sheltered #3 camping in the Terlingua Ghost Town

We constructed this shelter to protect guests from bitter cold North winds and shade for the summer heat. The shelter is large enough for a tent, or use it for a kitchen dining area, or both if you have a small tent. We have 2 other campsites, an RV spot, an Airstream Argosy trailer, a Ruin and an Eco house as well. Please no paper down any of the toilets on the compound (there are bidets in both full bathrooms to use).
