The vacation apartment is located on the second floor of a lovingly renovated half-timbered house. The property is located between Ilsenburg and Wernigerode. From here you can extensively hike through the Harz Mountains or ride a mountain bike. It is also the starting point for excursions by car: Brocken with and without the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway, Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe, Ilsetal, Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen, Rappbodetalsperre with suspension bridge, Regenstein Castle Ruins, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar and much more.

Apartment on the Harz in beautiful nature

The apartment is located on the first floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Newly refurbished and completely newly furnished, the "Haselnuss" invites you to linger. Super suitable for your vacation - if necessary with desk work. Our listed half-timbered house was built over 200 years ago and is freshly renovated. The "Haselnuss" is located on the first floor of the house and is about 50 square meters. The large garden allows you to recharge your batteries or let off steam. Direct access to the terrace.

Our apartment has been family-owned for over 100 years and has always been home to people who had a close connection to the Harz Mountains: as farmers of cows in the Upper Harz Mountains, as foresters in the forest and as passionate hikers and nature lovers. The apartment is particularly characterized by modern furnishings in a cozy chalet style as well as the magnificent view of the Matthias Schmidt mountain. The sauna invites you to relax after a busy, sporty day.

A double bedroom and a shower room are located on the sloping floor and are accessible via a rustic staircase from the first floor.
