Accommodating up to 5 guests, LaHave Cottage is a fully equipped, winterized wheelchair accessible cabin, providing a comfortable, relaxing and unique getaway for couples, families and small groups at any time of the year. For larger gatherings, stay in two or more of our Seaside Family Cabins.

Tanglewood Cabin

Want to experience off-grid living in a beautiful forest setting, 10 minutes to white sandy beaches? Tanglewood Cabin is a stylish little off-grid cabin nestled in the forest on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The cabin has a small solar system for charging your devices and to power a few lights. A beautifully built out-house is located near the cabin. While there is no running water in the cabin, water is provided for cooking, drinking and washing.

A short paddle or boat ride from the Bush Island government wharf and only minutes from Rissers Beach campground and Cresent beach. Our 18th century island home is a perfect base for exploring the LaHave islands, one of Canada's best Kayaking destinations. Relax in the 5 person wood fired sauna after a day on the water, watch the sunset from the floating dock, or watch the lobster boats head out to sea from the front deck. .
