Guest house holiday rentals in Cairns Regional

Great place for a great price, definitely recommend! The cutlery were slightly dirty but we were provided with all the necessary soaps and tools to clean them. The location is somewhat convenient, but everything is around a 20-30 minute walk away. There is a bus stop which will take you to beaches. The room itself was clean, some dust but manageable, the bathroom were clean and amenities were provided.

A rainforest retreat is how I see Melissa's. We loved the lounge room outside, it was comfortable and cool. Outside is a beautiful area. The bed was comfortable and we had all that we needed.

Lovely cabin backing onto the rainforest and river. John was the perfect host, gave a fiendly tour around the property then we returned to the cabin with fresh hot cross buns waiting for us. They have obviously given a lot of thought into everything that we might need or want to make our stay as comfortable as possible because it was all there, and some. The area was a post card and it was so nice to come back to such a well appointed little cabin in the forest after a day of exploring the tablelands.

We have a wonderful stay at Bella Vista. The location is stunning-rain,hail or shine. It had all we needed for a three day stay.

The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable. Brian was a great host—very friendly and gave us great recommendations on places to visit. The peaceful surroundings are perfect for disconnecting, and the spa and BBQ area make the stay even more relaxing. Highly recommended!

Tate's place was exactly as advertised. It was ideal for our one night stay in Cairns, providing everything that we needed.

We really loved this place, which we found removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cairns, while still being walkable to a variety of restaurants (we particularly enjoyed the food at NOA) as well as the local botanical garden with its own public rainforest.

Comfortable, spacious and in a quiet location. This fully self-contained unit is well set up and the host has provided basically everything you might need to enjoy your stay. The three pet dogs and cat will regularly be present at the front and back doors, curious as to who you are and seeking a bit of attention. They are all very friendly and the dogs will make a point of barking to let the host know if they spot you moving around outside the unit. It was nice to find a tap in the kitchen for filtered water and I found it really improved the taste of the standard tap water. It isn't obvious from the photos but the host family live in an adjoining house separated from this unit by just a small gravel walkway on the other side of the wall where your bed is situated. The host will give you complete privacy but due to the proximity you inevitably will occasionally hear some of what the family is doing next door. Kim & Mick are super friendly and very helpful if you have any concerns.

We feel so honoured to have been the first visitors to stay at Sarah and Felix's place. I was quite impressed with how spacious the bedroom and living areas were which was really helpful as we had a portacot with us for our 3.5 month old. Sarah and Felix were so generous with parking making it so easy and stress free to access the unit. The views were amazing and I loved how quiet and peaceful it was. Communication was seamless and I felt like I could rely on Sarah for a quick response. The only downsides were that you need a car to get here (that's Cairns for you though) and the driveway was steep, but it was worth the views, seclusion, privacy and quiet! I will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Cairns!

Wendy was extremely accommodating and her space was absolutely gorgeous! The Italian restaurant right behind the house and facing the beach was a personal favorite. She had a guest book of fantastic recommendations for restaurants and activities nearby. Would definitely book with her again!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Diane's beautiful home, and it was an unforgettable experience. Diane's warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and the stunning pool was perfect for relaxation. Her friendly dogs added to the joy of our stay. On checkout day, Diane kindly offered us a ride to our next accommodation, which was incredibly helpful and showcased her thoughtfulness. I highly recommend Diane's lovely home for a memorable getaway, and I can't wait to return!

Alan and Lou were nice to chat to and gave us some good local information. Their place is lovely. It’s well equipped, comfortable and with smashing views. We loved watching the birds going about their daily business from the veranda. A bonus was the washing machine which we used several times. We went to Yorkeys Knob for the beach and BBQ and we also had a day out on the Atherton tablelands which is very pretty. We would love to return to Alan’s and Lou’s place again.

I had another fantastic stay at Jennifer's place. I love everything about it, the location, ample space, peace and quiet, awesome bed and linen, great kitchen and shower. Lovely private pool and deck area. My favourite accommodation in Cairns. Thanks for hosting me again, Jennifer!

We absolutely loved Michelle’s place and hope to stay again in the future! The house is cozy and comfortable, with a wonderful back deck. Kangaroos everywhere which was such a treat, and the pools are clean and well cared for. Michelle was an incredible host and communicated every step of the way. 10/10 recommend!

It was a beautiful peaceful place to stay. Very private. We would definitely stay again
