In the summer you can fish and swim right off the end of the dock on the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! Welcome to our modern countryside cabin located on a 2 acre lot in Wakefield, Quebec. Come relax and recharge for a few days while taking advantage of nature and the cozy interior with fireplace. There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. We pay all Sales and Income taxes to the prov/fed governments).

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.

Year round trails for hiking, snow shoeing, exploring etc. Beautiful scenery and wildlife in a peaceful, private setting, relax and unwind by the fire! We look forward to having you!

Close proximity to Oh-el-la’s, Calabigie Brewery, Red Neck Bistro, and On The Rocks Lake Lounge!

Our clean and cozy cottage has a beautiful sun porch and comfortably sleeps four people. We are situated on a quiet lake with great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is available for free. Just 1 1/2 hours outside of Ottawa. We are only 20 minutes away from the award winning Whitetail Golf Course. There are two kayaks available for rent for $35/day each.
