Beachfront holiday rentals in Callander Bay

The entire property was beautiful! There were 8 of us staying for snowmobiling and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot! Dave and Susanne were so helpful and we absolutely loved the chalets and overall atmosphere! We will definitely be staying there again!!

Joy Cottage was a wonderful space that accommodated a large group well! The cottage was beautiful with stunning lake views. Despite the rainy weekend we had there were tons of activities to keep us entertained. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone. If you stay at Joy Cottage check out the fresh honey sold by the neighbour, it’s delicious!

Staying at Mubin's place was a wonderful memorable lifetime experience! The place was so comfortable & had all what we needed! We were a big group of mothers & daughters retreating for fun & relaxation! It was our third year doing this yearly activity & I have to say that Mubin's place made this retreat the most enjoyable one ! From Canoing in the lake to dipping in the hot tub to barbecuing ! We just enjoyed every minute! Girls had fun sharing the upper area with the master bedroom & the beautiful view! while moms spread between the main floor rooms & the lower level full apartment! Sitting on the terrace is so relaxing & there is plenty of space for everyone. We also had the best gathering indoors when it was rainy at the sunroom which is so cozy for talks while we watched the water all around us! Mubin was minutes away in responding to every question & he made sure that all our needs were met. Also have to mention that the 2 kitchens made our experience saviour! Sure would Revisit!

The view from the balcony pays for the place! So peaceful and the sauna was great. Wish the weather was more cooperative but there’s load to do at this cottage.

Great place to stay for a large group of people! Very spacious with lots of room inside and outside. The lake is on the smaller side if you have a pwc but during the week there is almost no other boat traffic so it worked great for us with tubing, boating, and fishing! The cottage itself is a little dated but there was everything we needed to enjoy our stay:)

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. My young kids could play on the beach and the water was shallow and the water toys (trampoline and Lilly pad) were great additions! Lots of kayaks and paddle boats to use and the views were gorgeous and peaceful. We definitely would go again, the games room was great to get out of the sun for a short period although it did have quite the pungent smell of gasoline so wasn’t able to be in that room for long although the weather was perfect so it didn’t really change our stay. If it was a rainy day that would be more difficult. Overall we loved it and the cottage was a perfect size for our family with all the things we needed. Thanks for the lovely stay!

We had a great stay. Our 4 year old son and golden retriever loved the shallow water, peaceful area and the beautiful view. I tell people all the time my memories as a kid was sauble beach sandy cabin style cottage with a screem door lol. We now live near sauble so we like to head further north now Muskoka. Cute little place and can't beat the pink sky over a fire! Thanks again Burks falls is such a cute town wasn't busy for a weekend in June ....out Screaming heads.

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Ian is a great host very friendly and professional. Amenities are well kept from the swimming pool to the fish cleaning hut, you can buy even premium gas for your boat and enjoy a Saturday evening karaoke. Definitely we will come back again.

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

My family and I had a nice cozy experience staying on Ian's yacht. We relished the lake views, the dock, the stars, and the sunset, as well as the opportunity to cast our fishing line directly off the bow.

My 5-year-old daughter and I were on a road trip and we booked this very last minute. it was definitely the highlight of the trip and wish we would have stayed a couple of extra days. the water was beautiful in the evening with the sunset.

Ian's place is as described. His boat is clean, and the resort is well organized. He is one of the few hosts that is actually on-site, to help with anything needed; he is also very accommodating and easy-going. I didn't think there was actually going to be a karaoke night, as it had been described in the other reviews, but there was one. The whole area is conducive to a relaxed state of mind. my son and I enjoyed staying here and will very likely come back for some good fishing. Yes, we caught fish too, which was a plus.

Yet again a fabulous stay at Joli Voyageur Campground. Our first time in the bunkhouse and it was exactly as described. Perfect for our weekend.

Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

Brianna’s place was just perfect! We were a family of 7, and found the arrangement of the bedrooms and living space ideal for our size. Lots of activities for children, the lake and balcony were so refreshing. The place was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the interior design was on point (the bathrooms came out of a magazine!). Brianna was above all so hospitable and generous. She was nice enough to offer us both an early checkin and later checkout. Easy to contact, and she made the home very accessible. Highly recommend Brianna’s cottage if your a family looking for a wonderful and refreshing retreat 🙏🏼

Best part of the cottage was the private sandy beach with shallow entry for the kids to enjoy. The water was crystal clear and very calm most days. The cottage was well equipped and everything was labelled and easy to find.

Jessica was quick to respond and always available. The cottage is beautiful and roomy, the view from the living room Is stunning and the sunsets amazing. We will surely stay again.
