We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy cottage! The highlight was definitely the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The BBQ setup was great and made evening meals easy and enjoyable. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature views, making it a peaceful escape from the city. We especially loved sitting on the deck and taking in the quiet, scenic surroundings. Would definitely come back for another getaway!

We had a lovely stay in the tree house. It's truly unique and a cozy, comfortable, place to stay surrounded by natural beauty. We enjoyed visiting the local farmers market and exploring East Sooke Regoinal Park. I hope to go back!

Fabulous stay. Started off right away with informative and fun communications. Easy cabin to find. Easy parking. Drive right up to the gorgeous and spacious porch. Lovely home. Squeaky clean...actually beyond squeaky clean. Comfortable. Great kitchen. Hot tub on patio is always hot and ready. Strong wifi. Saw the most gorgeous red fox ever streak across the property. We were there in June and we saw about a dozen different songbirds. Super fun, comfortable and peaceful weekend. Thank you, LaBerge Cabin for an A-plus weekend.

absolutely beautiful location, me and my wife loved our luxurious stay at the saltwater retreat. we enjoyed the sauna and Japanese tub. we drank our coffee by the ocean and watched the boats go by. it felt very private, like we had our very own spa. host was great, very responsive and helpful, clear instructions. house was stocked with cooking oil and spices, shampoo and conditioner and more! very nice location. very close to town to pickup groceries and see the sights, host provided helpful recommendations to local eats and hikes. would love to return one day!!

We had a great stay at this cabin, the view is lovely and the outdoor area is very comfortable. The pictures were accurate and the host was very proactive. There is another unit on the property, as is detailed on the listing, but it was not an issue for us and it is not visible from the outside areas, only when walking in the front door.

Was unfortunate that we only had one night here - would have loved to have stayed a bit longer to make use of all the facilities and see around the neighbourhood, however what we did see/do was great and the house is gorgeous! Nancy was extremely responsive and helpful. Would love to come back one day.

Such an amazing place, Julia was great to deal with and extremely helpful, the room was perfect very comfy and felt at home, the sauna and hot tub were amazing and the fire pit was perfect to unwind next too, the drive was beautiful everything was above and beyond great

It was our second time staying here and it won’t be the last 😄 We absolutely love it. We did self check in, since we have been there before . We did a nice walk with our two dogs , had a bbq dinner and simply enjoyed the natural scenery . A map is given so you know where on the property available for walking around .It was an extremely hot weekend , the a/c unit in the sleeping area kept us cool and comfy. It is a great get away from the city in a beautiful part of our province .

We were lucky to catch one available night in Andrew's cabin on very short notice. Upon arrival, we found everything spotless and beautifully prepared - inside and outside. We loved the peaceful location and spent hours around the firepit, before heading inside indulging into one of the movies that were on DVD. Thank you very much for having us.

My stay at the Ontario cabin was LOVELY. I was travelling with my medium/large sized dog and we had the perfect amount of space for both of us, along with her dog bed, and still had enough room to roll out my yoga mat 😌 Perfect spot if you have adventures planned because it’s close to so much! And the lake is just across the road with an amazing sand beach! We arrived late and the weather was wet so the bugs were extra friendly which unfortunately prevented us from spending more time outside around the cabin and beach but that’s okay because the bed was AMAZING! They have a great set up for their shower and outhouses too. Good spot if you are making a long trip and need a cozy place to sleep. Thanks Rob and Dana!

I would love to highlight the special attention to detail that Emilie has. The site and info about the House and surrounding areas is very beautiful and helpful for people who do not know the area. The house is a little Gem and the Sauna is the icing on the cake :)

Needed a weekend to unplug and spend some time away from work. The cabin was lovely. Trails were well labeled. Instructions on how to operate and navigate the amenities were helpful and clearly laid out. Would recommend if you’re looking for a weekend escape.

One of our favourite Airbnb stays ever. An incredible cottage perched on a cliff with arguably the best view on Manitoulin Island—completely surrounded by nature. Mornings were filled with the peaceful sounds of songbirds, and the setting was so serene and relaxing. The cottage itself was spacious, modern, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved the beautiful firepit in the backyard—perfect for evening gatherings. Just a heads-up: firewood is available for $15 per small bundle, so we’d recommend bringing your own if you can. We made so many amazing memories here, and we’ll definitely be back. Blair is a fantastic host—responsive, kind, and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely 4-day getaway at this modern log cabin. It was fully equipped with all the amenities we needed and provided a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Just a heads-up—there aren’t any restaurants nearby, so be sure to bring all your food and essentials. All in all, a great experience and excellent value for money!

This was our 4th time here! It just gets better and better! The upgrades are great. Example new bed and fountain in the pond 😊 The farm animal sounds and the birds singing add to the atmosphere! The stream is always the highlight for us! Our souls are recharged and our dogs are happily exhausted! Don’t forget to try their peach jam!! 😊

What an amazing weekend! The cabin was the perfect spot to switch off from life/work and really relax! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to prepare all the delicious food we brought and we just loved bbq'ing on the deck looking over the water 😍 James was a great host and ready with any info we needed! We will 100% be back!

What a special location to get away from the noise of the city without being too far away. Charming set up, and had everything you need.

The perfect getaway for a couple or small group of friends! Everything was very well updated and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. They provided a timely response when needed and were very easy to book with. Highly recommend!

Amazing property and location! The home, nearby river and surroundings were beautiful. This was the perfect mountain getaway.

C’est un chalet parfait pour se retrouver en nature en amoureux et pour décrocher du quotidien. Le chalet est très isolé pas de voisin proche et on avait l’impression qu’on avait le lac à nous tout seul. On a même eu droit à la visite d’un chevreuil qui est venu nous voir par la porte patio! Il manque seulement une galerie en arrière avec un gazebo pour être à l’abri des moustiques et pour pouvoir profiter de l’extérieur au maximum! Mais tout le reste était parfait!

We had such an amazing time ! So private and peaceful , so calm.. the views are amazing! We were also lucky to see some deers in the morning , overall an incredible time , we can’t wait to come back !

Sehr schöne gegend und die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Der kleine See und die Kanus war eine schöne Überraschung. Was mir besonders gefallen hat, war das die Leiter die sehr gut befestigt ist und es noch extra Halterung und Polsterung gab zum das Bett zu erreichen. Das Schlafsofa ist auch bequem. Was uns weniger gefallen hat, war das dass Wasser aus dem Hahn eine leichte Verfärbung hat. Ausserdem hat es einen unangenehmen Geruch. Zum kochen und abwaschen steht genügend wasser zur Verfügung was es dann wieder wett macht. Das Duschen ist etwas unangenehm. Wir empfehlen jedem diese Unterkunft, der nicht so heikel ist wie wir mit dem wasser. Sonst ist alles wunderbar gewesen.
