This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.
