We had a lovely long weekend at Tarken House. The views are beautiful. The house is spacious, well stocked and easily accommodated the 10 of us, all adults. House was lovely and warm and very clean. Beds are very comfortable and good size en-suites. Jonathon was very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would highly recommend Tarken House and definitely be back again.

Amazing homely cottage in a nice private location. This was our last night of rest post-NC500. A shame we only stayed a night, could easily have done a few more and really explored the amenities in the village. Nonetheless a fantastic stay, very comfortable and friendly hosts.

Excellent location for exploring Oban, the slate isles, argyle and bute, beautiful surroundings, some interesting local walks. The accommodation was well stocked with all the essentials, and we were supplied with a travel cot, high chair and stair gates. Lovely garden with views over a field with lambs and the bay of loch melfort. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

I loved this stay. The home is renovated and was squeaky clean. The rooms were big and bright and the beds were comfortable. We felt right at home, right away. It’s so nice that there’s parking for the unit, there’s a beautiful walking path right out the front door and a great little pub within walking distance. The house is away from the bustle of fort williams, on the path of the Jocobite train and close to Neptunes Staircase. Great stay, great hosts and location.

Lovely, well kept and presented home. Everything you need. Close to town (easy walk) and great walks nearby. Short drive to the base of Ben Nevis. Recommend the Larder Cafe, next to the Highland Soap Co. Only about 15 minutes walk. Great food!

Absolutely beautiful place, the lake is right out the front door and you can see amazing sunsets and go for nice walks along the shore. Inside the house it was very nice furnishings, and it was warm and quiet. The master bedroom is amazing, you get a great view of the lake. Everything needed for a family of 4. Kitchen and lounge are excellent. The only small downside is that the shower water pressure is not the best, but the water is nice and hot at least so not too much of a problem. Definitely would stay here again it’s in a great position to explore the highlands.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The space was surprisingly roomy, giving us plenty of comfort to relax. What really stood out was the personal touch throughout the apartment — it felt welcoming and thoughtfully arranged.

The house was at a beautiful location in walking distance to Morrisons,Tesco,Mc donalds,High street. The house was squeaky clean and felt like home. House was nice and warm and even had a lovely Fireplace with provided Woods from the host.The only minor problem for us was the internet was very slow. So if you are going with young people keep in mind. Will definitely book this place again.Thank you for the accommodation.

Convenient location right on the A82. Beautiful view of the lake across the street and some cute horses and goats in the pasture behind the house. House interior is renovated and modern with all the amenities. Reasonably priced. Host responds quickly to messages. Central tourist location. In 3 days we toured Ben Nevis distillery and mountain gondola, scenic drive to Glenfinnan Harry Potter viaduct train and Mallaig for local seafood and finally drove to Loch Ness Centre museum and Jacobite lake cruise. Fabulous holiday.

The house in Corpach is a lovely place: spacious, nicely furnished, and with a very well eqipped kitchen. It's in a quiet location but it's very easy to get from there to Fort William and on into Glen Nevis (or to just take a stroll down by the coast or the canal). Frazer is a very fine host: welcoming and good at communications.

Perfect location for exploring Skye and surrounding areas. Dornie Croft was an outstanding property very tastefully finished with everything you could need right down to lunch boxes and thermos flasks. Would not hesitate to return.

This is an amazing house with a wonderful view of the Sound of Mull. Everything felt incredibly homely. One of the best Airbnbs you can find with wonderful views of the Siubd of Mull. Very tastefully done. Loved the open plan kitchen and sitting area and the warm underfloor heating welcomed us on our return from beautiful but sometimes wet and windy walks. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Melanie’s place was a beautiful place to stay! My family and I felt right at home. The place was very clean, organized and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

A truly royal vacation 8 of us just enjoyed a great time in this magical place. I am wheelchair bound so it was great being on one level. The accessible shower was also great. The place is just like the pictures. Very beautiful. We were blessed with good weather a few days we were there and a number of our party braved the loch. It was an experience and quite cold but worth it. It’s very remote and you have to travel about 2 miles on a bumpy dirt track to get to the house, but it’s part of the appeal. The views are just awesome. From the house there are trails and you can hike up high hills. If not high enough Ben Nevis is a drive away and some of us I did the climb. Overall a memorable holiday and we would love to come again.

The Shorehouse was one of the best airbnbs we've ever stayed in and we'd recommend to anyone visiting the Isle of Skye. Everything inside is modern and recently renovated with luxurious amenities and one of the most beautiful views in the world right outside the window. Lots of privacy but a short drive to not only the top sights to see in Skye such as the Old Man of Storr and Gairaing but also nearby grocery stores and restaurants. Fiona was also responsive with clear check-in instructions. A must stay!!

Beautiful spot with gorgeous views from the house. A great location if you want to explore both mainland and Isle of Skye. The house was clean and very well equipped. Great to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the view of the valley and the estuary and watch all the birds. We recommend the walk up to the top of the mountain summit opposite the house!

One of the prettiest places in all of Scotland. Highly recommend. Even better than the photos for a beautiful property and grounds with some history.

Great place to stay for our short two night trip to Ft William. Close walk to the downtown area. Also were able to walk to hiking directly from the front door. Very responsive host. Most certainly would stay here again.
