Apartment holiday rentals in Cape Charles

We had a great experience here! The apartment was better than the pictures listed and the location was extremely convenient! It was perfectly situated on the Main Street and we walked everywhere. Very close to the beach and such a lovely little town. Very family friendly and quaint. We also accidentally left a personal item after checking out and contacted Doug to see if it could be sent to us and he responded immediately and was extremely accommodating! Overall a great experience. The only little thing I would suggest to future guests is to be prepared to bring your own cooking essentials like, oil, salt & pepper and spices etc. as there weren’t any in the apartment. We mostly ate out but this was a little difficult for the meals we wanted to cook there.

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

This is truly a hidden gem in Cape Charles! We recently stayed for the long holiday weekend and loved every minute of our trip. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and the location couldn't be better. We enjoyed having the ability to walk around town and have stores and restaurants so close by. The host was friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We look forward to staying here again!

This was the second time staying at this location. Our family loves it! You can walk to the beach, walk in town to all the shops and restaurants. I can't wait to come back! Chesapeake Properties are awesome to deal with. Thank you again for a great weekend!!

We had a great stay with our two children in the Dolphin Suite! It is extremely spacious and the amenities were so nice. Literally right on the beach, which is private and beautiful. Having simple things like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, basic cooking essentials (oil, spices, etc) makes such a difference and the beach amenities are endless! We were requesting early check in and in the hurry to let us in, laundry detergent pods were not placed in the unit. I messaged Merlyn and she dropped off multiple detergent pods within minutes. We would definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay here! Everything looked as pictured and described. I will say it can get a little noisy since it is located by a fairly busy street, but that didn't particularly bother me. Having the beach so close by was very nice, too! Hadley was very helpful and kind. I would definitely stay here again!

The condo was very clean, cozy and functional! The neighborhood was very peaceful and neighbors were friendly. There were so many stores, restaurants beaches/parks and fishing areas within minutes. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay, again!!
