Chalet holiday rentals in Carbon County

My husband and I adored this place! It was in a beautiful location that was very peaceful, which was just what we were looking for. It was a nice escape from the city where we are from. It was a very friendly community and the lake was a walk away. We were fortunate enough to be during a snowstorm and it made everything mystical and cozy. We got to stay in, cook a nice meal, watch movies and see the snow fall! The place was absolutely beautiful and everything you could imagine/hope for as a cabin in the poconos. It had absolutely everything we needed and more! The pictures don’t even do the beauty and warmth of this home justice! Magda was very welcoming, attentive to our needs, and quick with her responses. We felt at home and would love to come back and enjoy another getaway in this dreamy woodsy wonder.

We had a wonderful time staying here! The fall foliage was beautiful, and it was still warm enough to take the boat out on the lake. Arek’s place had everything we needed. Great place for a Pocono getaway.

We were very comfortable and Wills place had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed the game room with our kids and appreciated the fenced yard for our dogs. There was some extreme weather (snow, ice, rain and wind) and the house was warm and well insulated! We plan to be back.

Danny is a great host. Very responsive and helpful, and he even offered to mail me something I forgot to take home. The chalet itself is a charm with all the amenities needed, 100% worth a stay. We will definitely be back when we get a chance!

Amazing people. My children and I needed a place to stay while there was an issue at home. They were extremely accommodating and even offered to move their own stay at the home to accommodate me. If I could give 10 stars I would. Great house, great people!!! There are other homes available all over the place but not rented from people like THEM !!! If you have options… pick this one.

Maggie was the best host! She was super responsive and accommodating. She made sure we made it to the property safely and without any problems. Any time I had a question she was very quick to respond. We loved this house and it was perfect for our bigger group for a weekend trip!

Beautiful vacation home! Very clean! Comfortable beds and linens! Deck was very nice to relax after a long day of Wrestling! We stayed with our wrestling family for a tournament at Kalahari Resort and had the best time! Unfortunately we did not get to check out any of the features in the community due to weather and timing of the event. The community was very peaceful. Would definitely stay again! Host: very responsive! Accommodating, and place is as shown in pictures or actually even nicer! Thanks for a great stay!

My family had a wonderful time here for an extended weekend. Beautiful home, private, quiet, and great amenities. Patrick was very responsive and even took time to stop by and help us with the heating/ac. We were there during a weekend that went from 80 to 60 and we had technical difficulties. The basement game room provided entertainment when our outdoor plans were rained out. 10/10 highly recommend.

Took my fiancé here for a quick birthday weekend staycation, and she absolutely fell in love with place. The home is beautiful, with plenty of space. The location is perfect! It was exactly what we were looking for. Situated in the middle of the woods, surrounded by nature. I’ll definitely be back.

The house we rented with my friends was absolutely amazing! Super stylish, modern, and incredibly comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone — enough rooms and beds, and we all felt totally at home. The cleanliness was top-notch, everything was spotless and well-maintained. We especially loved the backyard with the BBQ and fire pit area — perfect for hanging out and chatting in the evenings. The terrace was a huge plus, and the parking was more than enough — all our cars fit comfortably with no issues. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Communication with the hosts was fantastic — they responded super quickly, usually within 2-3 minutes. Honestly, the price was totally worth it. We’re giving this place a 10 out of 10, and without a doubt, we’ll be back next time we plan a getaway. Thank you!

Ryan was a great host - we enjoyed the great amenities his home had to offer. It is walkable distance from the lake and we were able to partake in the farmers market as well as lake sports. The sauna, hot tub, and games room are great perks to have as well. The home was clean and easy to check in.

That place is truly a little piece of heaven! We had such a wonderful time. The hosts were incredibly responsive and attentive whatever we needed, they were there to help right away. It’s such a joy to be surrounded by nature, and the peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more special. The location is also great, with shops and restaurants nearby. they’re definitely worth a visit. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

The location is amazing. From the second you walk in, there is that brief pause where the view out the back windows hits you. It is an amazing view of the lake, the sunset, etc.. The loft is great for reading a book on a rainy day and having the lake as background. The house was roomy with a very nice kitchen. The game room and video games were fun to play. The boats were as described with a very nice, stable canoe. Fishing was decent catching perch, crappie and bass, some right from the dock. The bedrooms were well appointed. It was nice to have a washer/dryer available. You can walk or bike around the neighborhood. It was not far from many restaurants, pizza, ice cream, bakery, etc. Overall it was a great stay. Easy check in/check out, beautiful surroundings, good communication, and a nice house. Will be on my list of houses to come back to.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location in Blakeslee. Amazing views of the lake. Short walk to the playground, basketball court and small beach area. The home was fully stocked with everything you need. The kitchen had all the essentials and more. They had a shed with basketballs, kids toys, bikes, volleyball, wagon for kids and much more which was a huge plus! The fire place facing the lake and the bbq grill were perfect and easy to use. The game room is a nice touch as well. Wish we could stayed the whole month there! Thank you!

My friends and i had the BEST weekend at this home- would HIGHLY reccommend! Beautiful lake front with lots to do around! The hosts were attentive and wonderful to coordinate with. House was clean, and beautifully decorated. Lots of games to play inside and outdoor yard activities, perfect wor whatever kind of weather you may get during your stay. Great location. It's nice and very open in the back with lots of trees. Very serene. Just wish the weather was better for the pool but enjoyed the hot tub a lot. Everything in and out of the house is in the right places. Will definitely consider coming back in the fall next time.

We had a fantastic stay here. The weather certainly didn't cooperate with us, but we still had fun even when we were forced to stay in. There was plenty to do and we spent a lot of time in front of the cozy pellet stove. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Janina for sharing your home with us and being a great host.

Great Poconos stay. Has it all! Well thought out, Spacious and cozy. Game room with ping pong table and billiards table is super! The house is located right across the street from the lake and a nearby shared dock to launch the owners kayaks. The hot tub is a nice touch. But wished it was in a nicer area to enjoy the environment. The host were super responsive and were very patient with us as we got to know the property. All the amenities worked well. Would surely rent again.

Cozy and relaxing, we’re definitely going back. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the amazing view of the water in the morning was simply breathtaking.
