I’ll teach you how to read the swell, wind, and tide, helping you to better understand the perfect conditions for catching waves. • Next, we’ll warm up our bodies with Ginastica Natural, a dynamic movement practice designed to improve your strength, flexibility, and connection to the environment. • Finally, it’s time to hit the water. I’ll stick right by your side throughout the session and give hands-on coaching as you practice your skills, build your confidence, and ride the waves of the Atlantic. By the time we step out of the water and dry off, you’ll feel a deeper connection to the sea and a sense of rejuvenation to continue your adventures in Portugal.

Join me at Praia da Cabana do Pescador, one of the most beautiful surfing beaches in Costa da Caparica, for an introductory surf lesson and an exploration of surfings history. • We’ll start on land with surfing basics, safety guidelines, and a Q&A session, followed by a brief warmup. • Then we’ll hit the water for your lesson. Praia da Cabana do Pescador has consistent, beginner-friendly waves year-round, making it a great spot to learn. • Afterward, you can share how the lesson went, learn my larger perspective on how I live surfing, and enjoy the views You’ll leave with an understanding of surfing fundamentals and the sport’s history, both globally and in Portugal. We provide all necessary equipment, you'll just need a towel.

Don´t worry about the water temperature in colder months, we have GOOD WETSUITS and surf ALL YEAR ROUND! we will meet at Carcavelos Beach or Guincho beach (we will send you the exact google map pin) and then we will have a SAFE and FUN SURF LESSON divided into warm-ups, theory, and practice. Lessons include all the material and last around 2 HOURS total, if you´re up for it. You´ll have ample TIME TO PRACTICE and get better wave after wave with our HELP AND TIPS! I´d be delighted to share with you tips for our beautiful hometown of CASCAIS, considered the best area to surf near Lisbon and where the Surf started in Portugal! Cascais Surf Experience by Rapha

The surf school is 2 min walking from Carcavelos beach, equipped with bathroom, shower, lockers and areas to relax. Once you arrive I will give a brief explanation about the surfing activity and afterwards we will choose the proper equipment according to your surfing level. The duration of the lessons depends on your physical condition, but usually lasts around 2 hours. The surf school has a validated licence and insurance that covers all the experience. Other things to note I’m here to support you with anything you need. The surf school is nearby Carcavelos train station and we can pick you up whenever is needed. In case you don´t have towel, sunblock, etc. don´t worry we can provide it for you.

Brunch & Wine Tasting Cascais e Sintra

Are you one to run away from the mainstream, tourist-packed tracks? I invite you to come with me and experience a sensorial tour of this region. The day starts at 11:00 am at our meeting point in Cascais. From there, we follow through emblematic Guincho Road and go up the hill to our first stop for brunch, shall I say "the brunch". Next Stop, Cabo da Roca, The most western point of Europe. When the clock hits 2:00 pm, we will head towards our next stop, an area of outstanding beauty. With a breathtaking view extending as far as the eyes can see, the picturesque village of Azenhas do Mar owes its name to its water mills. The suggestion is to contemplate the views, focus on good energy vibes and re-energise until we set off to the next stop. Then the next chapter unfolds. We will have a sneak peek of the vineyards that grow on sand-rich soil, an original kind of viticulture with unusual and ancestral cultural techniques. Curious? You will have the opportunity to learn more. Around 3pm, will take us to Adega of Colares. Here, a guided tour will last approximately 1 hour. You will listen to stories, find interesting facts about the cellar and its wines, and enjoy a wine tasting paired with light snacks. It will amaze you how unique their features are. Last stop, Casa da Guia one of the most beautiful places in Cascais. Brunch and Tasting require advance booking.

Relaxed e-bike discoveries in Cascais and Sintra

I`ll meet you in your hotel in Cascais with the e-bikes. From there, our e-bikes will take us effortlessly to all the amazing sights in Cascais and Sintra. We start-off from Cascais Market and go up the Sintra forest through a path that you will see yourself in the middle of the countryside, with sheep, horses and local vegetable gardens. We will go through Quinta do Pisão, up the Sintra Forest to reach Peninha Monastery in the top with a 360 view of the region. We will then go down to Guincho Beach where we will have a relaxed lunch. We will have a deep experience of all of the best that this region can offer. Expect up to 4hours and around 35kms. This route is great for every cycling experience. Kids are welcome! We have the following possibilities to offer: - 24 inch wheel Ebike, usually suitable from 8-11 years - Bike child seat: 18 months to 4 years - Trailer: 4 months - 5 years (fits two kids!) - Co-pilot or tandem (one wheel bike attached to parent): 5-7 years. It is recommended to book a private tour with kids so we can adapt the pace.

Open Water Swimming in Cascais

Hello Dear Dolphin! My name is André Santos and I will take you swimming where you never imagined. My lessons and tours are designed to be a balanced combination of relaxation and adventure. I spend a great deal of time planning each of my swim routes, ensuring that I offer you a tailored experience that you will never forget. On this particular day, we will meet at Praia da Duquesa, in Cascais. After arriving, you will meet me and fellow swimmers for a safety briefing and discussion about the swimming lesson/tour. If you are a beginner swimmer we can also do a private coaching session. We will then hold an acclimatisation swim nearby and start our adventure along the Cascais coast (from 1.5km or more depending on your ability and if you want to do a Tour or a Lesson). There you will have the opportunity to swim in very enjoyable clear waters. The view from here is unrivalled as the entire Bay of Cascais is laid out before us. The session will last 1 hour with time to warm up, meet up and after our water session either get a hot tea. I provide swim buoy and if required will provide a wetsuit rental. I will be swimming beside you all the time and giving you all the support you need. I will be filming you while swimming for further analysis of your technique. I'm sure you'll love swimming with me! Boat Tour - Sailing 4 You in Lisbon

The experience consists of leaving the Marina next to the Tower of Belém, sailing along the Tagus River and dazzling with the brightness of Lisbon, looking from a different perspective to the main monuments and tourist attractions that the city has to offer ... Me and Paulo, during the trip, we will explain all the monuments and talk about some aspects of the city of Lisbon. Kayaking with the Portuguese MacGyver

This experience is one of the best ways to explore Cascais Bay avoiding crows during high season. I will adapt it to your level and make your experience safe, fun and unique. Our departure point will be either beautiful Duquesa beach or Praia da Ribeira, the central beach of Cascais and referred to as the fishermen’s beach (praia dos pescadores) . Both beaches are located in Cascais Bay and very close to Cascais train station (5min walk) I will be waiting for you at the beach with the kayaks ready for the activity. Once we are together at the beach, we will go through some basic theory (safe kayaking, paddling technique and posture on the kayak). After, we will launch our kayaks and paddle away from shore. I will be there to assist you with anything you might need and to control and comment on your performance. A few paddling exercises in the water (forward and reverse sweep strokes and how to turn the kayak) and ….finally time to allow yourself to feel the soothing sounds of nature while gently swaying while exploring beautiful Cascais coastline from a different perspective. We provide sit on top kayak, paddle , lifejacket and wetsuit if needed. If you don´t know how to swim don´t worry ! it is safe to do the kayaking. Other things to note This activity is safe if you don´t know how to swim.
