Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Caribbean Sea

We were greeted by David and Penelope upon arrival with a warm welcome. We stayed on the ground level in the 2 bedroom suite with our own kitchenette however we received two wonderful meals per day with request. Our hosts were wonderful, informative, and accommodating arranging for a monkey tour through the Mangroves by boat and informed us of the tortuga release just down the beach from where we were staying so we could take the easy 5 minute walk to watch the release. Oh, speaking of the beach, it was amazing to have such an amazing expanse to walk wash day. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to stay with David and Penelope. Looking forward to our next stay with them.

Fun location. Felt safe and relaxing

Esteban’s place was so clean and he was very welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. You can tell he and his wife take much pride and care of the entire property, which seems to include 3 separate apartments. He is available at a reception area from 6:30am-9:30pm, very long hours but reflective of his dedication. We asked about laundry service and he suggested several options, but they offer it for $10/load, which was well worth it to us since we arrived with wet clothes from our prior stop. There were plenty of warm blankets on the bed for the cooler nights. Overall it was a great stay.

Had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. The host was super responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Puerto Rico. Highly recommend!

This place is a great find and an amazing location for the park, we loved seeing the wildlife in the garden and relaxing by the pool too. The staff were really friendly and helpful with parking and the bags. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Overall, this was great value and I would recommend.

Excellent location, a few minutes from downtown Tamarindo and attractions, ideal for a group of friends or family. A whole complex for private enjoyment with your friends or family

This was such a beautiful stay...I only wish I’d booked a few extra nights to really soak it in. After the beach portion of my trip, this peaceful sanctuary felt like the perfect landing. Kris and Marie were warm and proactive in their communication, helping me feel safe and welcomed long before I arrived. The space is a serene earthen home. CLEAN, with natural finishes and quality minimal decor. The garden and views were everything I’d hoped for - especially the hummingbirds flitting about and lizards sunbathing after the rain. :) I’d never stayed at an Airbnb that included breakfast, and not only were the meals vibrant and nourishing, Kris and Marie went out of their way to accommodate my tight schedule. It’s the reason I was able to be fed in the morning both days! Thank you for keeping the Dhamma alight, Kris & Marie! ☸️

Don't hesitate.... this place IS as good as it sounds. This little resort has about 7 rooms, with most open to nature . At first it seemed weird, sleeping in a room missing a wall. But that openness allows for you to be drawn in to the wilderness. Dont worry about bugs or creatures in the night.... all of them are comfortable where they are. We were treated to a morning rainstorm that highlighted the oneness that you experience when you are so close to nature Make sure you stay for dinner and save a day to just relax in the forest.... it's worth it.

So this felt right at home it even smelled like home. Like love had been put into every corner of the place. The owner is very nice and even let us check in a bit early and I love the hospitality! This is by far my most favorite places I have stayed at in all my time of traveling💕 it’s different from your modern day stays so if your wanting peace and tranquility with a little bit of a home feel this is perfect for a day after the beach! Oh they even make great breakfast In the morning before you check out which is a plus!

Olga is absolutely lovely and amazing! The property is stunning and very well staffed. Olga gave us an extremely warm welcome and lined up transportation and activities for us. Our son had a stomach virus while we were there. She and her staff were BEYOND kind, helpful and accommodating. Olga has created a wonderful environment of community with her staff and guests. We cannot say enough good things! She also coordinated a boat tour to the Rosario Islands that was awesome! We would absolutely stay with Olga again, and you should as well!

The space inside was lovely and homie. The outdoor space was even better. Excellent spot to go for a swim. Very peaceful spot to hang out and stare out into the water❤️

This far exceeds expectations, the whole experience was amazing. The host is extremely accommodating the room was spotless and the facilities were amazing. I definitely enjoyed the pool after walking around town. The outside area was peaceful and relaxing. I was very suprised the price was more than fair so I was not expecting the royal treatment that was given. I will book again next visit ☺️

We couldn't meet Jean and Coco and their little boy, but we had the pleasure of meeting their staff, Karina, Grechell, René and the other guys, they were polite, willing to help, always with a smile on their faces. We felt right at home. We traveled with our 6-month-old baby and they provided us with all kinds of amenities. Highly recommended. The hotel is very tasteful, the food is delicious, and it's close to the beach.

Edward was a lovely host, and the place was clean and the perfect place to stay before a flight.

The room I rented was beautiful with all the amenities listed. It was clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the privacy shutter as it ensured that the room remained dark I’m case I wanted to sleep in. The host were very responsible and helpful. The rooftop pool was a delight. I’d recommend this the Mermaid to anyone looking to have a clean, private room in a great location!

This place is supreme. This is a heavenly home in the middle of the jungle. The attention paid to us by Franz and Anna, their hospitality, the food, is all top notch. Be warned, it is a hike to get to the home - some 15 minutes of ups and downs and crossing rivers. For us, more than worth it. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking to spend some time, comfortably with nature, in a home away from home.

It is a very quiet hotel, the breakfast is delicious and the cleaning and service are excellent.

John, is a wonderful host, very responsive, and the stay was spectacular with precious views. Will definitely repeat the stay.
