The apartment was the perfect place to spend a relaxing week away. The beach was walking distance and the host provided easy to carry chairs for the walk over. The space was clean, comfortable and had a great view. The host was really friendly, responsive in the chat and gave clear instructions for check-in/out as well as all the available items for use on the property. Loved it, wouldnt hesitate the book again

Family Beach Bungalows - Steps to beach & Village!

Rarely do we ever return to a place we've stayed at before because we just want to make new memories and be open to new things. This place has been the exception, we couldn't wait to come back! We stayed at the Blue Ocean Cottage in May of 2024 and had such a great time that we did it again May of 2025! The proximity to the beach, the village and the quiet neighborhood can't be beat. This has been the perfect place for our family to spend time together, making dinner and playing games. Beach is so close, it's easy to pop over anytime. Grandparents (my wife and I) loved the cottage out back where we could have some quiet time to ourselves. The kids (twenty somethings) and grandchild equally enjoyed have their "own" space in the main house. Property is only 15 minutes from Oceanside harbor where we went on a whale/dolphin watch, which I can't recommend enough. It's about 10 minute drive to Legoland with traffic. Wonderful family memories at the Blue Ocean Cottage!

This unit was excellent. Steps to the beach literally. It’s an efficiency so obviously it’s not a huge place. Perfect for a couple. It was very clean upon our arrival and was exactly what we wanted which was to be right on the beach. The host reached out before check in with clear instructions and was very responsive to texts. If you’re looking to be right on the beach, and within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops this place can’t be beat. I would definitely stay here again.
