Guest house holiday rentals in Carmel Valley

The hosts were welcoming and responsive. This cozy cottage was perfect for our stay. It was lovely to be surrounded by the garden and pets too. Hope to return on my next trip to the area.

We enjoyed a wonderful time at Luna’s place! It was quaint, cozy and just what we needed. The only thing I would have preferred was a little better kitchen to prepare your own meals instead of eating out so much. But if we come back to the area, I would absolutely stay there again!

Sarah's place was great, and we truly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and cozy, making it a very comfortable base for our trip. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of snacks in the kitchen – it was a lovely welcome! Parking was a breeze; we found easy street parking, and Sarah even provided a parking pass, which was essential for summer street parking. The location was perfect for us as we were able to walk to the beach, various restaurants, and downtown. We highly recommend Sarah's place and would definitely love to come back on our next visit!

I had a lovely stay here! Perfect location. The small studio worked great for a longish stay. I'd say it was definitely spacious for a single person, and only would feel cramped if there were two people staying there who planned to stay indoors all day. I appreciated that it had a fully-equipped kitchen so I could cook my own meals! Also walking-distance to some great restaurants and shops.

We had a lovely visit in Santa Cruz. We were in town for an event at UCSC and this place worked great for our needs. Erin was lovely and the Airbnb was cute and as described.

The Sunny guesthouse was perfect for our stay. I loved the decor, being able to walk to a healthy food store and the yard was so pretty! We also had a great dinner at the restaurant Copal. I loved that this place is walkable, private and centrally located. We were in town for UCSC graduation and the location is great- close to the school, downtown and the beach, etc. Overall super lovely vibes in the space as well. Thanks Erin! : )

We've stayed in a lot of Air B n B's and hosted two of our own and this was one of our all time favorites. For a studio apartment it is just amazingly well laid out and comfortable. There is gorgeous amount of light and we slept very comfortable on a high quality mattress. The layout of the unit is awesome and there are so many amenities that studio units we've stayed in did not have! Coffee maker was exceptional AND... there was an espresso machine AND pods of great coffee!! Also few studios we've stayed in have a modern fully apportioned kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, silverware, cooking utensils and cookware!! All of this in a really super cool built in eurostyled cabinet that I am envious of! You can also walk to restaurants easily AND the Arana Gulch Park is like right there and you can walk a beautiful walking path through the park and down to the Marina to Walton Lighthouse and SeaBright Beach. Fabulous, gorgeous place.

A great bolt hole, close to Downtown Santa Cuz. It felt like a little oasis of calm, yet close to the restaurants and beaches of the area. So lucky to have stayed in such a wonderful spot and would highly recommend for couples coming to this part of California.

We loved our stay here! The rooms, bed sheets, kitchen, and bathroom were spotless. The decor was charming and thoughtfully done. Our kids especially loved the snack bag the host prepared for us. We’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

I cannot say enough nice things about Kim and her Queendom. The Airbnb grounds are like the Garden of Eden, nestled near the Moss Landing Harbor. From Harley the tortoise to overflowing succulents, the grounds were so peaceful and beautiful. The cottage included a cute outdoor space with a picnic table and hammock. The room, bathroom, and kitchen supplies were all neat and tidy with thoughtful touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable. However, most importantly, Kim was the hostess with the mostest and I absolutely recommend you eat at the Haute Enchilada. The food was divine. Cannot wait to return for all my Monterey Bay Adventures.

Such an epic spot right where you need to be. Walking distance to everything from the point to the shops on 41st. It’s such a cute spot.

Martha’s place was perfect for our stay. Very nice and clean. The entire place was updated and in great condition. Clear check in/check out instructions. We would book here again.

A great option when staying in Santa Cruz. Clean, quiet, close to everything.

Immaculate accommodations, great location. A five minute walk to Natural Bridges. Quiet, well kept neighborhood. Comfy beds (my son used the sofa bed which was queen size and firm), fresh linens/towels, well stocked kitchen with snacks upon arrival which was very nice. Beach chairs and beach umbrella came in handy, too. Hope to stay again! Thanks for your hospitality, Kim!

This place was magical! We love staying at air bnbs on this road. It’s very private and the forest is so beautiful. The house had everything we needed. It was cozy and overall a great experience.

We had an amazing stay at Elia's property! All four of us were thoroughly pleased with the thoughtful amenities and included features—it truly felt like a home away from home. Rural-feeling area, but conveniently located just off of the 101. We spent our time in the state parks along Highway 1, driving between Carmel and Big Sur (Highway 1 is still closed south of Big Sur). So, this location is pretty convenient without paying the higher prices to stay along the coast. The guest house is very clean, spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. Irene is friendly and responsive. Even though the main house does extend above the guest house, our privacy was respected and the unit is quiet in the evenings and at night. Highly recommend!

Lovely, quirky place tucked into a neighborhood that makes you feel like you are away from everything. Spectacular views! I hope to be able to return.

Winie and Davids place is perfect. Clean. Quiet. We lived on the Capitola side, which is crazy busy. Enjoyed the calmness of Winie and Davids side of town. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Our stay was great. Just the two of us. Great location. Easy to walk to coffee and breakfast places in the morning and dinner at night too if you’d like. Very clean.

Khristina’s cottage was a spectacular discovery. I’ve been visiting Santa Cruz for years and always struggle to find great places near Steamers Lane. The cottage was immaculate, private, clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was speedy and all the amenities worked as advertised. Highly recommend!

It’s was such a good and a peaceful place to stay! Quiet neighborhood and has many street parking if you’re traveling with 2 cars. Wonderful, cute, clean home. Surrounded by pretty tourist places as well! We had a wonderful stay. :)
