Holiday rentals with lake access in Caroga Lake

Where do I begin... I've stayed at numerous Airbnb properties, but this one stands out as one of the most beautiful settings I've encountered. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and having direct access to it was a huge bonus. We made full use of the canoes and kayaks provided, enjoying them every day. My husband, an avid fisherman, was thrilled with the lake, calling it one of the best freshwater fishing spots he's ever visited. The grounds are impeccably maintained and offer plenty of privacy. Inside, the house is both comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, and small appliances you could need. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the linens are of high quality. The furniture is tasteful and inviting. Karen was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and responsive. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend this place without hesitation.

We loved our stay! The home was perfect for our two families staying for the week for baseball. It was a quick drive to Dreams park (about 20 minutes) so we were able to go back and forth between games. The beds were comfy, the home was clean, and there was SO much to do. Our only complaint is that we didn’t have enough time to spend at the home enjoying the lake and water sports.

The house was amazing, just like the photos! Had plenty of room for the two of us along with our Daughter and our two Grandchildren. The girls enjoyed the hot tub, and swimming in the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent for their vacation! My only wish was it was on the water! I love looking out the window to see the water!

Thoroughly enjoyed it perfect thank you so much for the extras that hardly any Airbnb provides! My husband says thank you so much for all the wood you provided it saved him from hauling it. We left our kayaks in North Carolina because they would make too much noise however we were surprised to find kayaks and fishing poles available for renters! You really should put that in your ad, may have been the decision point that we would’ve chosen for you It would be nice if all Airbnb were as accommodating as you guys were . based on the extras ! Hopefully nobody in the future takes advantage of you.

The residence was lovely and clean. perfect for relaxing short get away. The one slight negative is the road noise. This is certainly out of the owners control. The afternoon and evening traffic, especially motorcycle traffic can be a annoying. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the 3 season room. traffic noise falls off about 730pm. we had a lovely stay.

Thanks Matt for hosting us. The Airbnb was located in a beautiful location with the lake just directly opposite. It was also a comfortably short drive to Saratoga. Matt’s place was clean and beautiful and exactly as described. Matt was also extremely communicative throughout our stay. Thanks again!

Beautiful house, very clean with lots of amenities. We loved the game room! Location was good and we enjoyed being riverside.

Very comfortable and convenient place for 2 people. We stayed in the lower apartment of a 4-unit home with a nice walk out patio. The lake is right across the way. The place was perfect for a 3 night stay.

It was a perfect place for 2. The home was beautiful inside and out. The property was well maintained and attractive. The setting was stunning. Having kayaks available was a bonus. Inside, nothing was missed. Communication was clear and simple; they offered good suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely stay at Alexandra’s apartment. The design was cozy and lovely with eclectic artwork tastefully displayed throughout. The fridge was well stocked with a variety of complimentary beverages, as well as a large variety of coffee and tea available. We had everything we needed and the bed and furniture were very comfortable. She was kind, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely come back!

We had a great time at Bonnie’s place. It was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom areas were very clean and well stocked.

Huge bonus that I can bring my dogs. Always a great, enjoyable stay.

This is a great place for vacation stay - clean and well maintained. Close to a lot of places, attractions, malls, and a variety of restaurants in the area. Joe is a great host - helped us with check in and made sure we are comfortable. We highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Melody Manor. The unit was immaculate and had everything you need. The view was fabulous! We were there in the off season so it was quiet - but, just what we were looking for. I can see how this would be a great place to stay in the summer - pool, tennis/pickle ball, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very happy with Rose and how responsive she was - will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in Lake George!

The apartment was very comfortable. The fresh eggs and other breakfast items were a great surprise. The location was perfect for let us get away from Dreams Park between games. Our daughters had a great time feeding the animals and jumping on the trampoline.

David and Kristine’s lake house was the PERFECT spot for a family getaway. Lots of room in the house for us to be comfortable and spend time in depending on the weather and the yard on the lake was exactly what we wanted. Plenty of boats, fishing rods, and outdoor games for everyone to enjoy together. Tons of games in the house. Clean and looks exactly like the photos. Can’t wait to come back again!

This was our second time staying at this Airbnb and I can't wait to go again. Beautiful area, patio with lake view.... Super clean and very welcoming! Highly recommend it

We chose this location for the lake views and we were amazed at how striking the place is. You have your own private access to the lake. I discovered my son loves fishing, and we are planning to give him the opportunity to continue exploring that new passion. Tammy was kind, communicative, and gave us very clear instructions. There are many hiking trails in the area, and striking views everywhere you go. I recommend Tammy's place.

This is a place you would want to come back over and over again. So serene and relaxing place, Perfect for the whole family!The moment you walk in ,you will fall in love with it. This was the perfect place to get away and make lasting memories with my best friend who’s getting married. We loved how close it was to everything and the food at the garrison was great. We were able to relax, play games uninterrupted and enjoy life story’s. I highly recommend this location!

My family had a great time staying at Jennifer’s place. The house was stocked with towels, linens, blankets, and just about anything you forgot to bring from home (face wash, shampoo, dish washing pods, etc.) The backyard was a perfect combination of security (the fenced in yard for our pups) and serenity to unwind and enjoy the fire with family and friend. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

We had an amazing time visiting Sacandaga Lake with our family for Memorial Day Weekend. The house was in such a great location and even though it rained most of the time, the views were still incredible. Brendon provides a binder full of great information about the house as well as things to do or see in the area. We loved hanging out on the deck and cooking food on the Blackstone grill. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large firepit table! There was lots of space for everyone to enjoy and not feel like we were on top of each other. They provide lots of refrigerator/freezer space so we could really enjoy just being there and making the most of our time together as a family. We would definitely visit again and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great getaway!

With this year’s trip to Lake George, we opted to try Airbnb rather than stay at the popular hotel up the road… We are so happy we found Buddy’s lake front home! Buddy is a friendly and responsive host, and we hope we are fortunate enough to stay here again next year!!
