It is located at 400 m altitude in the valley of Miera, surrounded by mountains up to 2000 m high. Líerganes, 13 km away, you can go shopping, strolling and dining. Hiking, climbing, biking, fishing, exploring caves, watching animals - all this goes from the house without taking the car.

Lo Riquines Pasiega Cabin

The Lo Riquines cabin is located in the quiet neighborhood of La Sota (San Pedro del Romeral), in a privileged area, with beautiful views of the mountains and in turn with total privacy. It is a two-story stone cabin surrounded by a large meadow with its own forest. It has two rooms and a reading room with a photographic exhibition on the life of the Pasiegos on the upper floor. On the ground floor is the kitchen, living room with sofa bed and fireplace and the bathroom.

The 50-square-meter house is on the floor of a building with two independent doors on the facade. One of them is the casita and the other opens onto a 5-bedroom house where more travelers stay. Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

The house lives with a young oak tree, it is also in front of the large beech forest and you can hear the river that passes right in front. It is totally suspended in the abyss but its stability and firmness are surprising. Our idea is to enjoy it while sharing it with you.
