Holiday rentals with a kayak in Cass County

We enjoyed our stay at the Ladyslipper! The house is well stocked with linens and anything you may need in the kitchen. The location was very convenient for walking or driving to town. I highly recommend booking this home!

We had an amazing stay at Bear Paw Cabin! My friend and I were seeking the Lord Jesus Christ and we found an abundance of peace, joy, and clarity at Alexa's cabin. We were continuously led to and from an abundance of divine appointments in the Backus and Brainerd area, and this cabin provided a place of rest and recovery during our time there. The cabin was clean, organized, and reflected the description. Amazing views of the lake and a peaceful environment! The kitchen was well-stocked and plenty of space if you have multiple guests. The cabin was designed well and had a rustic, yet minimalist feel which provided the clarity and peace for a relaxing stay! The cabin does have well water, so we brought some drinking water with which worked for us. Alexa is an amazing host and responded to every question we had during our stay! Thank you and God bless!

Wonderful place on the Whitefish chain with fantastic views. Christina is an accommodating and responsive host. House is well equipped and comfortable. Outdoor area is spacious. I am a repeat visitor and highly recommend this place.

This charming cabin was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway! The inside was very cozy and super clean. The backyard area was so peaceful and we loved having the fire pit, dock, and kayaks right there! Overall we had an amazing stay and will forsure be re-booking.

Very nice place with lots of amenities, plus some extra bonuses and conveniences that you wouldn’t necessarily expect (e.g pool table, popcorn maker, laundry access, body wash/shampoo dispensers in the showers). You can tell they put a lot of thought into making it a comfortable and engaging space.

We all had a wonderful time, it was peaceful, relaxing, family friendly and felt like home! We would definitely rent this place again in the summer time! What a beautiful home and view! Thank you for having us as your guests! Lovely experience!

This was our first Airbnb and it did not disappoint! The cabin was even better than the pictures! In fact, it was so nice we chose to eat there for all our meals instead of go out! I didn’t want to leave. Nice WiFi connection and was able to remote in to work when needed. Hot tub was clean and modern. Kids were able to swim and try fishing off the dock. Many of the items in the “cabin” were even better than what I have at home. Thank you for a great experience. 😊

Our stay at Silver lake was amazing! Everything was as described and lake home was better than pictures showed! We had everything we could have needed, and the home was very comfortable and private. The lake was beautiful! We really enjoyed how crystal clear the water was, made fishing almond feel like cheating! I couldn’t find anything to complain about if I tried. Management was amazing. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Beautiful lake and beach! The cabin was very clean, we had use of their kayaks and also a child size kayak that my 4 year old grandson tried out! They also had a canoe, fire pit, chairs and lounge chairs. They even had the fire pit all set up for a fire for us and pulled out a child size chair when they heard we had a 4 year old with us! Sue and Brian were super nice and very welcoming. The cabin deck is attached to their house deck but they have a privacy gate you can pull out if interested but we never felt we needed it. We loved their place so much and we are hoping to come stay again next year!

Amazing stay at Marv and Jills! Beautiful, well stocked home. Everyone had a great time. The lake was great for fishing, floating and pontoon rides. The home is well stocked with everything you need and even items you don't think of! Very quiet and relaxing. They were always quick to respond to questions. Definitely will come again!

The cabin was easy to find and has the most amazing views! We came at the end of the season for a family reunion but I’m sure during the summer this place is even more stunning!! Since it was off season we got to bring our dogs and they loved the area and all the fun smells. The main road outside of the resort was great for walks! The cabin was clean, had a great internet connection, and being so close to the water was awesome. My husband was able to catch some small fish right off the dock outside our cabin, which was fun! If given the opportunity we would stay again!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked as advertised. Checking in was very easy. I would stay here again.

We showed up to Jody's place Friday evening. We were celebrating my daughters birthday and I could not have asked for a better place to do it. We showed up and everything was immaculate. There was coffee available, snacks. My daughters could not stop taking pictures of the place. It was surprisingly larger than what we thought. There was a new gas fireplace that made everything feel even more cozy while we played cards and hung out. Jody made for a very memorable weekend for us, and I wish I could give it more than five stars. Thanks Jody!

Great place to stay. It’s exactly what you see in the photos. The home is very spacious, gives the cabin vibe, it’s peaceful, the lake is crystal clear (would be a blast in the summer months), wild life is active and beautiful to watch, and it has friendly and responsive hosts. Thanks for everything!

Spacious and comfortable house and was very clean! The kids loved playing hide and seek! Very close to Nisswa downtown that has lots to do. Highway was closer than we thought, but the house made up for that! Overall it was an awesome place to stay and Emily was a great host!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. Not only was there plenty of space for our large group, but the house and shed had everything we needed, fully stocked! It was clean, spacious and the host replied quickly with any questions we had. Highly recommend staying here! Also, the beach was very clean, sandy and had plenty of of floaties and loungers. Overall, a great place to stay!

Our family of 4 had best time! The sandy beach and lake amenities (including beach towels and life jackets) were so nice to have. We paddle-boarded, kayaked, fished off the dock, and swam every day. The lot with the gated entrance and wooded side lots felt private and peaceful, which was the perfect get away after mountain biking in Cayuna and the crowds in Crosby. The beds were super comfy. They have family fun games, TVS and cozy recliner couches, and every kitchen amenity that we needed to cook including a gas grill. Each night we made a fire in the firepit (the firewood, fire starter, and s’mores Kit was so handy!) and enjoyed the chairs. Everything you could think of was provided from bug spray to the professional grade hair products and Moroccan oil soap! It was the perfect blend of rustic and modern comfort. We can’t wait to come back!

We annually rent a lake cabin for a family getaway. This property is a cut above! And we always stay in nice places. It is clear that the owners love this place and spend time there themselves. The place is so well maintained, livable, and has everything we needed. So nice to stay in a place that isn’t just a rental!

Loved everything. We didn’t get much time there and wish we had more. We were only in for a short weekend. We stayed in the hideaway. I liked that it was away from people at the bonfire. Felt private. However it would be nice to stay in a cabin closer to the lake for the view. Very clean! Beth is quick to respond to questions. The location was perfect for us. It is near Crosby, but with our own little oasis. Definitely would come back!

Such an incredibly peaceful stay! We loved the snowy views and lounging by the fireplace. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a bit of quiet and relaxation. Comfortable bed, amazing tub and sparkling clean when we arrived. Very responsive and helpful hosts that provided us with tons of recommendations of places to eat and grab a good cup of coffee. We would definitely stay again with our little pup!

This is our second time at this beautiful cabin. Brian and Sandra are great communicators and very responsive. They provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area and the cabin is immaculate. The kitchen has everything you need to grill or cook meals yourself. There is a lot of seating options inside and outside. We rented the pontoon and kayaks along with our stay and spent a lot of time on the lake. Sunset cruises were beautiful. There are a lot of unique personal touches within this cabin- you will love your stay here and we will be returning again. Brian and Sandra are really lovely people.

Very nice, large cabin home. It’s absolutely beautiful here inside and out. We had our small wedding here and I wouldn’t change a thing. They were so easy to work with, good clear instructions. Everything was easy to figure out. It was well stocked with all the necessary items we could have needed. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a blast and a peaceful get away.

The stay we had was so beautiful and peaceful right on the river. Your home is well equipped with everything from linens, cooking supplies, seasonings, and lots of games to play. They had outdoor games, kayaks, and indoor board games! We loved the fire pit down by the river and made s’mores, and enjoyed the dock for fishing. We would recommend this home to anyone that was looking for a quiet retreat for relaxing!
