In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Stay in a newly renovated stone farm house built in 1888 on top of an ancient Roman road. Small cosy apartment off the beaten track, ideal for quiet retreats and getaways to focus on writing or creative projects. You will wake up to a breathtaking view of the wooded hills and overgrown farmland. Take long walks in nature or in the small village. Fresh fish available twice a week, 15 mins drive to the supermarkets and 7mins to a smaller grocery store.

Our Chalet is located on a 3-hectare fenced farm, located within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. A calm and tranquil place where you can enjoy nature and observe the local fauna, through walks through the pine forest, or choose to follow the stream to its source. You can also relax in our pool. Ideal for relaxing with family or friends. We accept all animals. The farm, Chalet, garden and swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the guests.

Enjoy a spacious 3-bedroom living space located near the beautiful Serra da Estrela region. The living space features two bedrooms with double beds and a third bedroom with a bunk bed—ideal for families or small groups. Pets are very welcome, but please keep them on a lead to protect our resident cats and to ensure dogs don’t roam into other guest or private areas.

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. The first construction dates back to 1928 and was recovered in 2002 in the form of a villa. Visitors' rest and well-being are ensured by a peaceful environment in contact with nature.
