Kevin is a fantastic host—warm, communicative, and very accommodating. The location is superb; we had our boat with us, and Kevin kindly arranged a parking spot for it. The house itself is cosy, well-equipped, and made for a comfortable stay. Just a tip: it's best to do your shopping on the way, as the nearest village is Belturbet. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Breda was lovely and helpful. Our kids loved the use of lake and canoe, down every evening. Would definitely stay here again if going down, lovely big spacious house.

Lovely quiet location short walk to Lough Rynn castle where we attended a wedding.The house was well equipped spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable Chris also left supplies for breakfast as well as little treats. Thank you Chris

We really enjoyed staying in this house . The house has 5 separate bedrooms, 4 of them have separate bathrooms which is so great and private if you share a house with friends or family. Spotless and very peaceful place . I would just add additional fridge in the utility room as the one provided is quite small . Also electric hob in kitchen needs replacement as its not working properly since it's very old . The kitchen itself is fab as it looks like it was redone recently. Overall fantastic place and super responsive & friendly host ! thanks for a lovely stay in your beautiful house xx

LOVED BEECH COTTAGE. John and Rose were very welcoming nothing was a bother. The cottage is in the most peaceful and beautiful location right on the banks of the Shannon. Everything has been thought of and catered for. Comfortable beds cosy home and 2 bathrooms. The children loved it here feeding the pony and donkey and just able to run round outside. Lucky John and Rose's dog is very friendly and very cute so is Tom the cat. Watching the fox in the field coming to be fed is amazing. Carrick needed but close drive to all amenities. We cannot wait to go back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

House has (almost*) everything you need, and Dylan is a great host (clear responsive kind host). The location is incredible - it would be easy to spend hours watching the weather roll in and out over the river, to enjoy families with their kids and dogs wandering by. There are two double rooms with ensuites, and one double room with a downstairs bathroom beside it which practically acts as an ensuite. We spent many happy hours here relaxing. The local town is a very short drive, and you can do anything you want here I'd say. From nothing but reading books to going for a paddle/kayak/swim daily. Really beautiful location. We'll be back for sure. * some basics like clingfilm and extra kitchen towels/roll wouldnt go amiss, and I would recommend bringing deck chairs, but nothing you cant manage without.,

I recently stayed in Trinity Lodge with my husband, four teenage boys and our five dogs. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. The lodge is in a beautiful rural setting. The views are breath-taking. The Lodge is well equipped and really very cosy. Between the sauna, the games room and the boats, the boys didn't complain once about being bored! We walked the paws off the dogs, who enjoyed the freedom as much as we did. Geraldine was always contactable and very kindly allowed us to check out late as there were no guests arriving the day we departed. I can't recommend Trinity Lodge enough. Definitely a nature lovers paradise.

Our 1 week stay was MAGIC If you want to experience a real peaceful rural retreat - book this house! It was complete silence with no traffic noise or neighbors. The only sound I heard was from the birds or an occasional moo from a cow. The house has a great layout with 3 well equipped bedrooms and the living room is central. Your front porch overlooks a beautiful peaceful lake with swans. Sometimes it felt surreal. I would recommend for a couple, a few friends or a family. Enjoy!

Beautiful place to stay in! Peaceful & tranquil with a slight view of lake nearby. Smart layout with each bedroom on opposite ends of house. Kitchen has every utensil you would ever need & a pleasure to cook in. David & his lovely wife Doireann do live next door but you have complete privacy, they are there if you need them. My husband walked over to ask for a little sugar one morning as he must have his morning coffee & Doireann ( I may have spelt her name wrong-sorry) have could not have been kinder with a container of sugar. With navigation easy to find. We would definitely stay again! Highly recommended!

If you want an authentic look at the real side of rural Ireland. Then look no further. This couple will make you feel right at home, not just as a guest but as a member of the family almost. Very warm. Very chatty. Very helpful. The site location is awesome. Nestled along a beautiful countryside walk. Good public transport links. Audrey will make sure you're aware of all local going ons and things to do. The value for money is absolutely outstanding for a stay like this. If you want to leave this country feeling like you've taken a little bit of Ireland home with you, then this is the place. You'll arrive as a stranger but leave as a friend.

We had lovely time staying in this beautiful house! It was perfect for a quiet and peaceful getaway. The house was even more beautiful and spacious than it seemed in the photos. We really enjoyed being so close to the river and walking around near the property. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals and make coffee and tea. The house was very warm and cosy even in the cold winter nights!

This place a awesome im many ways . I will definitely come back . Loved how much light there was with all the windows . And plenty of room with the four bedroom spaces. And right beside the drumcoura bar saloon. And the georgous drumcoura lake. And close to ballinamore town. The host was so lovely and available if i needed them. I will definitely be back .

Such an amazing stay! Was perfect for a girls weekend and Sabina and David thought of absolutely everything! They were so welcoming and were on hand for any questions we may have had and even for a tour. Will absolutely be back :)
