Holiday rentals with lake access in Cayuga County

Such a wonderful cottage stay. The shared lake access was so easy and wonderful. The cottage is only about a 10 minute drive from the downtown area, which we explored everyday during our stay. Would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. A lot of boating and fishing was done. Was nice to wake up to a lake view every morning. Would stay thereafter again.

We had a great stay at this lake house! Everything was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay, even with some cloudy and rainy weather! Our kids (ages 10 and 6) loved all of the provided things to do at the water - especially the floating dock, paddle boards and fishing poles. They also loved the loft room! The house was extremely clean and well stocked! We loved the view from the screened in porch, and had coffee out there every morning. Firepit, provided firewood and chairs at the shore was perfect. Beautiful sunset views from the dock! We also enjoyed dinner out in Skaneateles (about 25 min drive) at Hidden Fish (sushi) and Gilda’s (small plates), both great! Beautiful spot at the lake for a couple or small family!

House was beautiful and clean. We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from Syracuse. it was about 40 min away but it was worth it. very serene!

This studio was a great place for our stay. Robb and his wife are amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make our time comfortable. The apartment was clean, cosy, and filled with all the things needed for our stay. The neighbourhood itself is very walkable and the village shops are only a five minute walk down the road. We wished we could've stayed longer.

The highlight of our stay was the adjustable bed – such a pleasant surprise! After a long day of hiking, it was pure bliss to put our feet up and relax. The lake is just 100 feet away, with a beautiful park that’s perfect for a peaceful stroll. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Jacci’s home is beautiful and quiet, and with the separate entrance and bathroom, our room felt like a separate apartment. The location was super convenient for weddings at the Inns of Aurora - walking distance from all the festivities at a fraction of the price of staying at the inn!

The apartment was very sufficient for our needs and was clean. The location and people were the real magic of this place! Alex, Angie, and the staff, especially Jen, Bob and Amanda are some of the friendliest and coolest people you will ever meet. We made some forever friends here. It was our first time to the area so having the restaurant and bar, where you get 25% off, and meeting all sorts of interesting people as well as the fabulous staff allowed us to have a unique and amazingly fun experience! Thanks to the highly social atmosphere we found out the best places to go for hikes, waterfalls, restaurants and vineyards as well as other hidden gems that most tourists wouldn’t know about. The lake is amazing for boating, fishing and swimming and they have free Kayaks too. The food and drinks here are also delicious thanks to the smoki’n skills(ribs, brisket) of Chef Bob, & the mixology mastery of Anika! Alex and his staff went above and beyond for us and we will definitely be back! 5*

We could have not picked a better spot than this for our alumni weekend reunion! Beautiful views, great location for visits to campus and walks to the water, bars, and restaurants. House was clean and cozy. Chris was so kind and accommodating.

Dennis was extremely helpful in getting us checked in and responding to questions. Place was clean and well located. Check in and check out we're smooth.

Lisa’s cottage by the river is an amazing getaway for anyone who’s looking for peaceful surroundings! This wasn’t our first stay, and we always look forward to fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching. Thanks Lisa again for a great MDW stay!

Airbnb was a perfect place to stay while we visited the area – even on a rainy day the lake looked beautiful! Listing was as described and the host was super responsive.

We stayed at this cabin in the Finger Lakes for two nights and overall had a good time. The location is beautiful, with lovely views of the lake (especially at sunset) which we really enjoyed. It was a peaceful spot, and our family appreciated the chance to unwind. The cabin itself was cozy and had the basic amenities we needed. It was clean, and the check-in/check-out process was straightforward. It worked well for the couple of nights we needed. The proximity to Ithaca and other small towns was definitely a plus and gave us a few nice options for exploring the area.

This stay was a unique in that I plan to build a similar home as this one and I needed the opportunity to see what it would be like. Sally was super helpful not only with the Airbnb, but also with the home itself. Everything was super clean, well organized, no weird smells, and so well equipped. Sally has incredible taste. You will not be disappointed. Plus as a super host she’s so responsive and flexible. Such a great stay!

The view of the lake from the back deck was amazing. The place itself was beautiful with the spiral staircases and very spacious. The place was so clean and tidy before checking in. The breweries and wineries in the area gave us so much to do and were so fun to do tastings at. Job always responded within a few minutes of messaging and gave clear instructions as well. We even got a complimentary late check out, which was very nice of them. Parking was a little tight in the front of the house, but Job mentioned that prior. All in all, we had a great time and the place was worth every penny!

The house was in a beautiful location, right on the lake. It was also in a close proximity to wineries, a brewery, spa and restaurants. The house had all the listed amenities and Debbie left detailed instructions on use of them. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.
