Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cēsis Municipality

Beautiful place, and so relaxing. Ginta was so helpful and welcoming. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and lots of opportunity for day trips into Cesis and for hiking.

House was clean, hosts were friendly. There were a lot of things to do. Everything was better than in the photos and as we expected. We had a great time there.

I give 5 out of 5. The location is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. We could hear birds in the morning and enjoy fresh air. It was perfect for relaxing. My kids really loved the garden and small playground area. They run around safely and had so much fun. The house is very clean and everything is well prepared. Kitchen had everything we need for cooking. Towels, bed, toilet — all very clean and comfortable. The host is very kind and always answer fast when we have questions. He gave us many helpful tips about local places and things to do. We feel very welcome. This place is really good for family trip. We want to come again in the future. Thank you so much!

It was marvelous weekend in this place. Beautiful and picturesque surround. Calm and quiet. There are another house for rent nearby so maybe in bad if neighbors will be loud you can feel lack of privacy but not in our case. Very well equipped you can find what ever you may need in village house: well made grill with seat spot around, traditional wood sauna + natural pool nearby. Super village wibe. Host was super friendly, responsive and proactive. We had no any issue with accommodation and house usage. The only small downsides: house placed in real wilderness, so not the best gravel road as the only way to reach the house. Another side effect of that: no any shops 10+km around so consider to bring all food and drinks with yourself including fresh water. Would be glad to return again.

Stunning views of the lake from the cabin, really serene and relaxing area. Hosts greeted us upon check in and provided instructions and gave us apples. Very kind. In autumn it was a bit cold, but to be expected. Bed was comfortable, and sauna very convenient and warm. Raiskumeitus brewery nearby is a must try.

We are extremely happy with everything ❤️ Place is definitely soo much better than pictures could show!! Place is amazing! Hosts are very helpful, nice and quick to communicate!! To be fare everything was so good that we didn't need any extra response!! But when needed, it was there! Little touches, such as fresh flowers on fireplace, where very thought full. We do believe that location also is very good! Turaida and Sigulda at door step! Lots to see and explore there!!! Riga is not far at all ether!! We highly recommend to stay at this beautiful home, you are in country side but close enough to explore xxx Thank you very much to our hosts for our comfortable and very enjoyable stay!!! Our stay in Anses apartment in Līgatne was a complete success. The apartment is located in a listed building near the historic paper mill. With the window open, you can hear the picturesque stream rushing - almost like from a picture book. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail. The large, modern kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook. We particularly liked the tastefully renovated bathroom as well as the charming combination of restored floors and stylish vintage furniture, which wonderfully accentuate the character of the house. We felt right at home. The contact with Anse went smoothly and warmly – you can feel how much passion is in this accommodation. We will be happy to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay and would love to come back as it seems I found my power place. All fits together to make this masterpiece of a property - beautiful tranquil location in the midst of a national park, architectural gem - an outstanding modern design reimagined within the heritage codes of Latvian farmsteads. The most serene place that encourages family to come together where my 10 year old daughter didn’t even have the time for her devices being fully absorbed in fishing (there’s own pond), playing outside or watching fallen stars at the fireplace at night. The house is fully equipped and “smart” so on a rainy day you could fully immerse yourself in cooking, listening to the music, or watching series - WiFi works great. Davis is a great responsive host, and I hope will welcome us again soon. As we are sure to go back.

We had an amazing stay at Oskar's country house. The house has recently been finished to a really high spec. It is beautifully done with great taste. Having the outside pool is an added bonus. The photos are an accurate representation of the house. Location wise it is well situated and easy to find (we arrived quite late at night). We used the bikes provided to cycle to the nearby town one day, which is 4km away. The property is on the edge of a national park, so lots of walks you can do. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
