one of the best and most peaceful places we have ever stayed! lovely location, beautiful garden, privacy and a great hotub! kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice dinner and the lodge itself is beautiful. we had a great time and even with some heavy rain it was great. don't expect to be connected to the outside world as phone and Internet is almost non-existent, but that is what is so relaxing about this place! My wife and I loved this place, one of our favorites! The location over looking the beach was beautiful and was so peaceful and private. Inside, everything was very clean and well organized. Perfect for a couple looking to get away and enjoy some quality time together. Christelle was very responsive and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a great time at this place. It is very pleasant, quiet, with a very nice view. The hot tub is lovely. We have already recommended this accommodation to our loved ones for a romantic getaway!

Lovely location with beautiful views. Secure garden to allow dogs to run around freely, which mine loved. It was my first trip away with both of my dogs and I was a bit worried about it, but it was perfect. Hosts are very welcoming to dogs as well which made me feel more at ease. Hot tub was great. Lots of different areas in the garden to relax.

Great stay in this bungalow in the middle of nature! The proximity to the dwarf goats is a beautiful experience, as is the Finnish spa! Communication with our hosts was very good! The place is quiet and soothing, we highly recommend it for resting! 🐐

Peaceful place in the middle of the countryside, ideal for a moment of disconnection. Communication was super easy, very responsive. The accommodation equipment is perfect!

Angela was a fantastic host, the cabin was so peaceful and very well equipt, the chicken eggs were amazing we made fresh american pancakes with them and made the best poached eggs too! The hot tub was a massive hit with the kids and was the perfect location for exploring lots of different beachs and woodlands! The dog was also living her best life 🫶

We've just had a wonderful stay at the bungalow, which is set in a beautiful, quiet location with a private garden behind the owners house. The bungalow is well equipped with everything you need and Louise and Ian are excellent, responsive hosts (thanks for the scones). Beer and Seaton are both within easy walking distance, about 15 mins, on the coastal path. We did a great walk from the door passing through Beer to Branscombe, which has a fantastic pub called the Mason's Arms, and a working mill and a forge. All worth a visit. We then walked back along the cliff which offers some amazing views. The walk was about 10 miles in total with some steps and steep climbs, so you will need to be reasonably fit. We also visited Lyme Regis and Charmouth which is a brilliant location for fossil hunting. It really is a beautiful area which is well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very welcoming chalet, quiet in the countryside and close to the sea and many places to visit. Perfect for spending a few days with our dog in this beautiful region. Bernadette is very responsive, check-in to the accommodation independently is easy and everything is well explained for a pleasant stay.

lovley stay everything as described, absolutly charming place. You can even see heytor from the garden, stunning. Loads to do in area too. Our microwave stopped working and they came and replaced with a new one in less than 5 minuites. Only shame was the weather was so nice we didnt get a chance to use the wood burner. Faultless

We had a lovely family stay at le shack and Danny was a great host and really responsive to messages and questions The accommodation was really clean , well equipped and comfortable. The surrounding areas were beautiful and Cawsands and Kingsands were lovely for sea swimming Would definitely go again! Thank you 😀

This is a beautiful lodge where you can relax, enjoy peace and quiet and be close to nature. The lodge is well equipped to be comfortable, including a well equipped kitchen if catering for yourself. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay. Alison and Chris were amazing hosts! They provided us with a BBQ and gave helpful recommendations throughout our visit. The lodge itself is beautiful, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. We especially loved watching red squirrels in the garden each morning. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

The little place is fabulous! It's modern, super bright, well equipped, with a lovely view. The host is very friendly. It exceeded my expectations. I can highly recommend to stay here and would love to come back next year.

We had a magnificent stay. Klaus made us feel right at home, we enjoyed some drinks together as he explained the hiking routes, places to eat, etc. We loved the the summer house we stayed in, it was well-equipped and comfy, leaving nothing to the imagination. And self-built, really cool. We enjoyed fresh eggs every day and whenever we needed some help, he was always at hand. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, it made our already fun trip even better :-)

From the very first moment on we felt truly welcomed! The cabin is absolutely fabulous! There is everything you need and even more! The interior is perfectly designed to make most out of the space! The privat sauna is just the cherry on top! The surrounding is so silent, you will only hear birds and seagulls. Pavla was the perfect host, providing us with additional information and recommendations and we really enjoyed our little welcome basket! We will be back :)

We had the most wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin itself is light and airy, whilst cosy and comfortable. We came with our 8 month old and there was plenty of space for the 3 of us. The grounds were beautiful and we were able to use a good chunk of the garden. We felt very comfortable in the space and welcomed. The host Carolynn was absolutely fantastic. Great communication, gave us good recommendations and was just so helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying at this wonderful place!!

This is a great place for a weekend break in Totnes. The cabin has modern fittings and appliances and is extremly comfortable...especially the bed. The private patio was a real plus for afternoon tea and breakfast! It represents excellent value and a place we will certainly return to. I can thoroughly recommend it.

We had a brief but lovely stay at Benjamin’s beautiful Japanese pagoda, he was very responsive and helpful and we would stay there again. Perfect.
