Vine Cottage

Vine Cottage is a quaint gite in a secluded part of rural France. It sleeps four people; a large bedroom upstairs with a king-size bed and a smaller double room downstairs with two single beds. There is a shower room on the ground floor. The historic town of Melle is just 4km away with a choice of supermarkets/restaurants etc. The gite itself is very private with a beautiful swimming pool, garden and eating area. Ample parking, and central heated, the gite is available all year round.

House dating from the middle of the 19th century, independent access, restored with respect for materials, wood, stones, ideally located in the Belle Valley, very quiet environment and yet very close to the historic center of the village, classified as a "small city of character", you can enjoy an enclosed garden, with shade or sun, as desired, private parking, access to the private pool area, with pool house, beaches, deckchairs will be at your disposal. Verbena Gîte is a cozy, spacious retreat in a peaceful semi-rural setting—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. Enjoy nearby Chef-Boutonne and beyond, with everything you need for a memorable family stay. During the cooler months (January–May and October–December), firewood is provided for the log burner; additional wood can be purchased if needed. Electric wall heaters: We include an allowance of 15 kWh per day usage . Usage above this will be charged at €0.1481 per kWh.

Our cottage La Marceline, furnished in 2020, is located in a detached house facing south, open to a beautiful wooded area, in the heart of a small village. The living area of 60 m2 for 2 people consists of a very bright kitchen-living area, a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. In front of the house, a courtyard is available as well as a parking lot. For your short or longer stays, vacation or professional, you will find peace and comfort here!

An imposing gate provides access to the property at the end of a long private driveway lined with chestnut trees. Upon arrival, you will discover spacious and shaded parking. Pass the large red gate, and you find yourself in front of the main farmhouse, converted into several independent cottages, each with its entrance and overlooking a beautiful circular courtyard with a fountain in its centre.
