Please visit our website at signaturequiltbandb Signature Quilt Bed and Breakfast is located in Gilbertsville, New York 30 minutes from Oneonta and 45 minutes from Cooperstown. Gilbertsville is one of only two New York villages which are included in the National Historical Register in their entirety. Our Bed and Breakfast is located in a historic 1820s building, which has housed numerous businesses through the years, including a bank and grocery. At one time, it was the print shop that published The Otsego Journal and was formerly the home of Tarot Designing and Printing. The Bed and Breakfast is located on the second floor of the Print Shop. Nestled in this quaint 200-year-old village, it is next to the historic mansion, The Majors Inn, and across from The Value Way Country Store and the studios of various craftspeople and artists. The Bed and Breakfast acquired its name from the 1852 Signature Quilt which is featured along with other antique and contemporary quilts from the Butternut Valley. Our clean, comfortable, and convenient facilities will appeal to those visiting the Gilbertsville area, as well as those interested in quilts and Central New York Leatherstocking history. We will provide a selection of breakfast foods for you to choose from to create your own breakfast. Whether you stay one night or several, you will have a delicious variety of cereals, muffins, breads or cakes to eat. This was one of the best Airbnb stays I've experienced in my entire life. Everything was magically beautiful there. The place was clean, there were a nice fire pit with lots of woods to burn to warm up. We used kayak (it was a bit chilly, but still), we roasted stuff on fire. There was a nice brewery nearby that had live music and good burgers. The place is also close to Norwich where you can buy stuff that you may need. Totally recommended!

The cabin offered a peaceful and tranquil stay for our family. The lake view was my favorite! The area is quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The home offers most of the amenities we needed, just missing a washer/dryer. The only recommendation I would add is to upgrade the bed pillows and cooking pans. The current pillows are very flat and uncomfortable, and some pans were a little rusty. Overall, our stay was wonderful! Sandy was very responsive and we greatly appreciate the hospitality.

Lori was very good at keeping up and communicating with me. Called to check that I made it in ok. Property is beautiful, wish I had more time to actually enjoy the property. Showers hot with good water pressure (my pet peeve is luke warm shower water and trickling pressure at bnbs) kitchen fully stocked. Would definitely book again!

We absolutely loved our time at this cabin! It was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well furnished. The setting was peaceful, and the space had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It’s a fantastic value for what you get, and we couldn’t have asked for a better home base while in the area. If you’re in town for baseball at the Cooperstown All Star Village in Oneonta, this is a perfect option—close enough to be convenient, yet far enough to unwind after a long day at the field. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
