Holiday rentals with a kayak in Cherokee County

the location is gorgeous! the house is very clean. we loved being able to paddle board, canoe, and kayak on the lake. we also loved the view from the pool that overlooked the lake. this location feels like a lakeside resort. it's very quiet and peaceful. the listing does mention the loft stairs but I think it's worth another mention in my review. they're VERY steep which makes taking luggage up and down them difficult. a ladder might actually be easier. there are 2 beds downstairs though for anyone who can't make it up the steps to the loft (couch bed and king)

The house was bigger than we expected. The yard to the dock was an easy walk. Quite. Screened in porch was excellent! We had a great stay!

Dave’s place was even better than described! It was super clean and cozy. My grandchildren loved that the pool was right outside our back door. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, including a box of toiletries in case guests forgot to pack well. I highly recommend Dave and his lovely house.

We had stayed at this AirBnB in 2023 and had so much fun that we decided to come back. My friends and I wanted to take a weekend trip before everyone was graduated and off doing their own things and this stay was perfect for us! Although the weather wasn’t what we hoped for, we made the best of it and had a great time. We love this place and will most likely be back again, thank you!!

This place was amazing! We had the best experience. The house was perfectly clean, plenty of beds and space for adults and children. We cooked all our meals in and they had everything we needed in both kitchens. It was so nice to have 2 kitchens and 2 living room areas to split between everyone who stayed. We kayaked to the waterfall that was close by and it was the perfect distance. We spent most of our time in the backyard playing with the kids and they had a blast. The fireplace pit and smores was a hit and so peaceful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we will hopefully book again for next summer!

Fantastic stay! The Effie house is absolutely adorable and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful, with views of cotton fields and Lake Weiss; sunsets over the water were amazing. John and his wife were so hospitable and readily available anytime something came up. Highest recommendations!

Our family of 4 (two young children) absolutely had the best vacation at Magnolia Outlook! The amenities, the variety of things to do, the views of the lake, the privacy (even with neighbors) was just next level. Everything in the unit was thoughtful - like a starter kit for a fire, coolers to borrow, extra towels, very well stocked kitchen, games and blankets. We even requested a full size coffee pot and it was ready and waiting for us. We were so at home. The pool was amazing and clean and safe, and the lake was at a good distance from the house so that we didn't need to worry about kids getting away from us. The host provided a very helpful hospitality book that helped us navigate the area and find an amazing hiking trail that led to the river creekbed. There really isn't anything negative to say except we wished we could stay longer. We look forward to returning!

This place exceeded our expectations! I was a little worried before I arrived that I may have over paid for this place. But within 24 hours of our stay I didn’t regret it at all! It was exactly what my husband and I needed for a relaxing weekend away. It had the amenities of a hotel resort but without the excessive noise or crowds! For most of the time we had the pool to ourselves but even when we didn’t it was nothing compared to the amount of people at a big resort pool! We especially enjoyed the private porch with a fire-pit and the bathroom furnishings were top-notch! This place is great for couples but also kid friendly! We can’t wait to bring our kids back here one day to enjoy the pool, playground, and lake activities! Magnolia Overlook is truly a hidden gem with so much attention to detail from the hosts!

This cabin at Starlight Haven was absolutely perfect and gorgeous! It was perfect for a romantic getaway for my husband and I without dealing with a long car ride to a secluded location. It was nice to be able to bring our dog along with as well without any ridiculous extra pet fees of any kind. I would definitely book with Starlight Haven again in the future!

The place was exactly as the pictures show. Perfect for a weekend get away. Just a nice place to go when you need a change of scenery without having to break the bank. I will definitely be booking again. Thank you guys for the weekend.

We had a great time and enjoyed getting in the river! The water is so beautiful and clear. The cabin is well stocked, had comfortable beds and lots of space . It was very serene and peaceful. We hope to come back soon!

This is the first place we have stayed that we didn't have a single complaint. Everything went PERFECT. We loved kayaking, fishing, and just relaxing in the swinging chairs soaking in the peace and quiet. The hot tub made everything feel luxurious. All the neighbors were friendly and respectful. The cabin is small but the space is utilized perfectly with all the necessities for cooking or relaxing while you watch some TV. The bed was comfy, with the best pillows I've experienced on a trip (we pack our own but didn't need them). Little River Canyon is a must! We are already planning to come back and stay again!
